Should ``watch'' send me e-mails?

I signed up to watch the topic for the latest drop (http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930). I assumed that this meant that I would receive an e-mail when there was a new post to that topic. But I am not getting any e-mails. I only get e-mails when replies to one of my topics.

 

Am I missing a setting? Or do I misunderstand the feature>

Yes, you should get an email when there is a new post. However I have never gotten an email when a post is edited.
