Open / Close Sensor 2843-222 Failing?

Have a 2843-222 Open / Close sensor that seems to be failing but not 100% sure based on what I'm seeing and wanted to check if anyone else has seen this.

 It still works and my notifications come in fine. What I see is a long and 2 short led flashes when the unit is resting about every 5 seconds. I am not having luck searching here or elsewhere what this indicates. 

 I have not tried to do a factory reset yet but thinking that might be my next option. Since it works for now I'd like to see if there is another option or know what this is before going through that

You only have three options.  1) Try a different battery.  2) Put it in set mode and restore it.  3) factory Reset it then put it in set mode and restore it.   I'd vote for #3

Thanks.. I should have mentioned I did try another battery. I guess I'll give #3 a shot.

Well just to update in case anyone else runs into it.. the factory reset and restore did not stop the continuous blinking. I guess it is just done although still working.
