Node server request - Smartlife/Tuya

Amazon of course has loads of wifi items using the smartlife/tuya brand.

I have a few now myself and seem to work really well.

Im no programmer, but i have seen tons of info on API's out there for smatlife/tuya.

I even found a website : https://smartathome.co.uk/smartlife/index.html

that just uses your login info. Lots of info on reddit which is also where i found this website.

I would gladly pay for a decent node server for this platform, and im sure others would too as it seems to be a huge selling brand on amazon..

Thanks!

I considered Tuya as they have been pushing it but when I dove into WiFi bulbs the protocol was a secret and I went with MagicHome bulbs. They are supported under many different names and named protocols but with enough packet sniffing by myself and many others I have bridging software written to handle them and the bulbs run less than $100 each for 5 channel RGBCW bulbs. Compatible RGBW LED strips run about $30 for strip, PSU and controller.

I believe somebody already has a Tuya protocol NS available on PG3.

i saw the PG3 version, but am confused about what it can control maybe...

Im not using bulbs.. im using switches. i dont need DIRECT control.. control via API through cloud would be fine...

would think it would be somewhat easy for someone who knows what they are looking at and for since there is a ton of API stuff out there for it.

ill give the PG3 version a try, see what it does, as soon as i get my Polisy fixed...
