start time error

Just moved over to PG3 and loaded total connect (have run it for quite a while on PG2) and get an error message on start up  as follows:

File "/var/polyglot/.local/lib/python3.9/site-packages/total_connect_client/TotalConnectClient.py", line 208, in authenticate
    self.times["authenticate()"] = time.time() - start_time
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'start_time' referenced before assignment

Because of this it never loads the nodes and continues to give the following error messages:
