Av8rdave Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Hi, I just installed two 2475 InlineLincs to control some outdoor lights. After I did the install and went to program them, I noticed that there were differences in the command set. That got me to looking more closely at how they were set up and I noticed that there are actually two different InlineLinc device types. One is (2475D) In-LineLinc Dimmable v.00 The other is (2475D) InlineLinc Dimmer v.00 Since I didn't realize this until just now, I appear to have selected one type for one light and the other type for the other light when I set things up, which explains the slightly different command sets. So, I basically trying to understand exactly what the differences are and why I would pick one over the other. There may be something out there on this that I have not found yet, so I apologize if I am asking something that has already been answered. Thanks, David Sellers
Brian H Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 If you look at the list of choices. You will see the Insteon Device Code in the left column. I am thinking one is an earlier revision InLineLinc with less features. The v00 also shows the revision of the firmware was not known. Auto Discover may have worked better than manually picking from the list.
