The IoX Launcher shows an http and an https connection to my eisy. Is there an advantage to using one type over the other? I do understand that https is encrypted, but I don't understand why that would matter seeing as I'm connecting on the same network.

HTTPS is more secure than HTTP because it uses encryption to protect information as it is being sent between clients and servers.

If you were to use the cloud access rather than local, https provides better security
