Unable to backup ISY

Featured Replies

I was trying to update ISY99i v 2.7.6 to the latest firmware, but keep getting an error during Backup.

The error message is:

Could Not Retrieve File /CONF/23.PRP

Telnet shows that this file is 0 byte.

The result - broken backup zip.

I don't want to lose any settings. What could I do? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

P.S. Programs export without any errors.

Hi rusgrafx,

Telnet to the ISY and remove the file.

RF /CONF/23.PRP

Thanks, Rand.

That worked and it appears nothing got lost (with exception of configured email address). Now I'm a happy camper again. Riding on 2.7.15 firmware.

Thanks again.

That should not have affected your notification settings. It was a file containing the notes on a device (PRoPerties).

The upgrade should have migrated your email.
