Saturday at 06:54 PM4 days Are you able to do a backup? When you do a restore the zip file must remain in the zip format. What is the firmware version of the backup file you're trying to restore
Saturday at 08:22 PM4 days Author I was able to do a backup of my current ioXThe restore file was in the original zip formatI attempted to restore both a v5.9.1 and a v6.0.0 - both returned the same error Edited Saturday at 08:22 PM4 days by SSamuels
Saturday at 09:20 PM4 days What was the reason you tried to originally do a restore?Reboot your Polisy. After the reboot when you click on HELP | ABOUT what does it currently show for your firmware and UI versionsIf your current firmware is 6.0.0 then don't try to restore a 5.x.x file Edited Saturday at 09:21 PM4 days by Techman
Saturday at 11:13 PM4 days Author I had a program that had in the THEN - Run Program <Not6. Specified>Likely I removed/modified the Program that the THEN refers to.By restoring a prior backup (Ver5) I was trying to identify the missing program. However when I attempted to restore a v6.0.0 backup, I received the error message as well. When I attempt to reboot my Polisy I get an Error 'Socket Timeout Error'I did a hard boot (powered down) HELP | ABOUT Both Firmware & UI are v6.0.0
Saturday at 11:31 PM4 days Solution Being that your Polisy firmware is 6.0.0 the 5.x.x data file wouldn't be compatible.A socket timeout error occurs when a network operation, such as connecting to a server or receiving data, does not complete within a specified time limit. This means the client or server waited for a response or a connection to be established, but the expected event did not happen within the allotted time. It's possible that the 6.0.0 data file you were trying to restore is corrupted,After you rebooted are your programs and devices all working normally, if so It's best not to try restoring a backup. If all is good then do another backup. You should also clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here:https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Edited Saturday at 11:33 PM4 days by Techman
