February 3Feb 3 I installed a new eisy I acquired about a year ago to replace an ISY 994. In configuring it I restored the backup from the ISY. After it restarted, I got a message that I needed to kick off a manual upgrade from the configuration tab. I did this, and now 4 hours later I cannot connect to the eisy. The dhcp component of the router does not show it registered. If I look for a dhcp registration attempt in the log of the router, none shows up for the eisy.I tried doing a reset using the multi function button on the eisy per the User Guide, but nothing happens. It doesn't matter how many times I push the multi function button, nothing changes. The light just stays blue. Unplugging the eisy makes not difference. The multi function button turns red when I plug it back in for a few seconds, and then it turns blue. What do I need to do?
February 3Feb 3 As I recall, in the last year there was a major OS upgrade and there were cautions on jumping many versions. Unless others chime in, I’m thinking you will need to contact UD via a ticket to get it in back in working order.
February 4Feb 4 I have the same issue. I can see the eisy device IP on my ethernet but and I can ping it but finder does not find it. Same problem with the multi-function button.
February 4Feb 4 A big thank you to Michel, a quick response to a submitted ticket, it took several hours including giving Michel access to my system to recover my eisy, must have been a corrupted update, had to rebuild the system completely, now back in business. If you have connection problems I very strongly recommend you submit a ticket.
