Happy New Year..... Don't know which way to make this work so I thought I would ask the experts.... Just made my KPL from a 6 to an 8 button. I like the large "off" button and would like to set it up for an all off. The problem I am running into is it now "G" & "H" button. I have played with the grouping, toggle, etc and having no luck. Is there a way to put the G & H button back together? I have programed using control g or h is pressed but they don't light up together when just one is press. Am I making any sense???

You set it to eight button but are still using the six button keypad?

Yes, Plan on using it as a 7 key when all done

Define an ISY Scene with KPL button G and H as responders. In the Program turn the Scene On or Off as desired to get both KPL button LEDs On or Off.

Thanks for this information. I was wondering the same thing - the solution seems simple, but I hadn't thought of it and I guess to be real honest - I don't understand all of the bits and bytes of insteon, but it really is crazy you can turn the button on and off directly without having to create a scene !
