bcrawfo2
I'm thinking of using a KPL-6 in a tabletop case at my bedside. I want to wire the KPL's load wire (and a neutral) back to a plug so I can plug a lamp in. This would allow me to not add a lamplinc and do the associated linking. My question is....does the KPL-6 detect the load being turned on locally? So...if someone comes along and doesn't know how to use the controller...can they just use the lamp's switch? LeeG
There is no load sensing in a KeypadLinc.
bcrawfo2
Bummer. Thanks. I might just solve the problem with some electrical tape on the inline switch.
oberkc
I might just solve the problem with some electrical tape on the inline switch. I did the same with a KPL that you proposed. I removed the inline switch from the lamp. Tape should work pretty well, also.
