So, I have a 220V switch for my water heater in the basement and I've noticed that sometimes the UDAC cannot communicate with it. I'm thinking that all my 8' flourescent lights in the basement are causing interference. Yes? No? Any suggestions?

Possible. I can think of nothing more to do than to temporarily disable the lighting and see if that helps.

If they have an electronic ballast. It could be a possibility.

Try communicating with them Off as oberkc suggested.
