SwitchLinc relay with no version number v.00

Sometimes the v.00 switches don't respond (rare).

Likely the difference is that the SwitchLinc with a v.00 level specified the Device Type field when the SwitchLinc was added to the ISY. That path for adding a device does not seem to obtain the device firmware level. Try using the Auto Discovery option of Device Type field when adding the SwitchLinc to the ISY.

 

This quirk should have nothing to do with whether the SwitchLinc responds. Is it that it does not respond to a Scene or does not respond when controlled from another device?

Both actually, but it is very rare (once or twice a month) and not worth trying to troubleshoot at this time.
