grossmd Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 my isy-99i has stopped reporting device status changes. If any of my devices are turned on/off locally the status change does not reister with the isy. if I query bthe device the ISY then reports the correct status. This problem leaves all my nprograms that require correct status useless! Any ideas?
LeeG Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 grossmd Divide and conquer. Can devices be manually controlled consistently and reliably through the Admin Console. If so that tends to clear a new powerline problem. If reliable manual device control exists then the PLM may have lost it link database. Link records in the PLM are necessary for device status changes to be seen by the ISY. Do a Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table. When the Show is complete click on the Count button. How may links are counted and how many Insteon devices are installed. How many are KeypadLincs. Lee
grossmd Posted June 28, 2011 Author Posted June 28, 2011 Thanks for the quick reply. I actually solved the problem by unplugging the PLM then powering it up again. I had tried rebooting the isy withought success but I guess the PLM was the problem. No idea why but it works so I'm happy
