I had a KPL go south, my first one but need to ask this question. Is there an easy way to replace it without going through the whole setup? When I right click on either of the KPLs it gives me a choice to replace. My question is how for sure? Say KPL A went bad and I replace with KPL B. THanks.

Physically replace the bad KeypadLinc with the new KeypadLinc and add the new KeypadLinc to the ISY under a new device name. Then right click on the old KeypadLinc node entry and select Replace xxxx with .... which will display a list of devices that are eligible to replace the old KeypadLinc. Select the new KeypadLinc. The Replace with will change all references to the old KeypadLinc with the new KeypadLinc Insteon address, Scenes and Programs, and delete the new KeypadLinc entry.

Thanks. I am doing that now.

I am watching all of the names from the new kpl go away now and all the old names stay the same.

After all is done the only change will be the old KeypadLinc nodes Insteon address will be that of the new replacement KeypadLinc.
