KeypadLinc Toggle Issue

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem with toggling that I am guessing must be a defect, but I thought I'd post the issue here in case I'm just missing something.

I want to program my 'D' key as an All Lights Off for the lower level, and I want the LED to be always off, so I am attempting to set it up as Non-Toggle Always Off. I'm doing the same thing with another KPL on the opposite end of the room, and that one works fine and does what I want it to do.

The problem I am having with the first one is that I am unable to get the 'D' key to shift to Non-Toggle Always Off mode using either the ISY or through the KPL itself. When I use the ISY, it tells me it's in the mode I want, but the 'D' key remains lit. When I try to put any other key on that KPL into the Non-Toggle Always Off mode, it works just fine, but with the 'D' key, I can only get into Toggle mode or Non-Toggle Always On.

Any ideas?

It's a 2486D v.36

Thanks in advance.

Not being able to configure it using only the device indicates a device issue. Probably a defective device but before replacing it try a Factory Reset first. It will be necessary to do a Restore Device for it to be functional under the ISY after the reset. If D will not enter non-toggle Off mode after the Factory Reset it is defective.
