nstein Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I had a nice clear 60 degree day here, so I was going to put up some of my Christmas lights before it returned back to cold and rainy. Last year I had a in-line module wired in under my deck, it died and I got tired of crawling underneath to replace it so I wired all the outlets to always on and bought some outdoor ApplianceLincs, one problem solved another unknowingly created. I can't plug in any of my extension cords into the outdoor Appliance modules as there lip catches on the extra bulk that seems to be on all of my outdoor extension cables. Anybody else ran into this problem, what was your solution? Thanks, Nick
johnnyt Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Yes. Bought one of those devices that lights up to show the outlet has power. The ones I found were of a soft plastic or rubber so I could cut out a groove for the lip on the outdoorlinc. I could take a photo and put it up if it's hard to picture what I'm talking about.
