Posted December 14, 201113 yr I have wall sconces that are each turned on by a touch control dimmer inside the fixture. I would like to also control them by a wired in Instant on device. I want to keep the touch control dimmer function as it is a cleverly concealed thumbtack near the fixture. I have these sconces all over the house and want to control them individually and/or together. Can I just parallel the wired Instanton? Or would that blow the device when the touch pad provided the power? help please. thanks
December 14, 201113 yr Not a real good idea. I would think both the Insteon and Touch Controls could be damaged depending on each devices state.
