I'm getting an error message saying the system cannot write to 00.00.00.1 through 5. I tried rebooting the ISY-99i and the Insteon controller that I have attached, and it still isn't working. What do I do next?

Do you have an Insteon device with a 00.00.00 ID Number?

What module are you trying to access.

1-5 almost looks like maybe a 6 button KeypadLinc.

I don't know if I do or not. Since it was 00.00.00.1 I though it was special. In the ISY interface it says it is a controllinc V.30 device. SHould I just delete it?

Do you have a ControLinc Controller?

The ControLinc is kind of an odd duck.

If you have one. Did you use Link Management Tab and pick the Link a ControLinc choice?

 

Small tip most of us use. As we install devices we log the model number and six digit ID numbers. Makes it easier to remember what they are. I tend to go overboard and also have hardware and firmware revisions in the log.

Yeah I did have one hooked up, don't use it anymore.. I'm just going to delete it. Thanks for the help.

If you had one and it was in ISY99i.

Removing it from the system and not from the ISY99i. Could be why you are seeing the problems.

Deleting it from the ISY99i maybe the answer.
