blueman2 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 The humidity on this unit always reads about 85%. All the time. No way my house is that high for humidity during the winter. Anyone else seeing this type of high reading?
andyf0 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 The 2491T is an Integrated Insteon Thermostat, right? Since the Insteon module is sitting on the circuit board board I don't believe there is room to add a humidity module. You do know you need the optional humidity module to get valid humidity values? I suggest you go into the options and turn off humidity reporting. That doesn't mean it win't show a bad value, it'll just stop the thermostat from sending bad humidity messages over the network.
Brian H Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I have seen the internal photos of the 2491T in the FCC Database. It does look like it can take the Humidity Module. You may want to see if the module is installed as I believe it maybe an option. If not the HUM/NO HUM jumper is set to NO HUM.
