MikeBro
For the first time since I got my ISY-99i/IR-pro I started experimenting with dimming (I'm writing an app). I only have one dimmable lamp, and it's wired to a 6-button KPL. I have no problem dimming it manually. I've also had no problem turning it on and off using the ISY web page. After I set the dim level from the ISY web page for that device anywhere from 3 to 10 times, fast or slowly, the ISY loses comm with the KPL. I get the error popup if I have the admin console open at the time. I have to query the device, sometimes several times, before it is OK again. I tried toggling on and off like mad and could not get the problem. What's very weird is I cannot get the problem if I use the slider in the admin console! The error log does not show those comm errors. I've been getting this problem since I started at 7:30pm, and it's now 9:50pm. This is at the bottom: Mon 2012/04/23 09:13:32 PM System -170001 [uDSockets] RSub:33 error:6 Mon 2012/04/23 09:13:43 PM System -5 Start Mon 2012/04/23 09:13:47 PM System -170001 [Network] Established Mon 2012/04/23 11:53:59 PM System -5 Start Mon 2012/04/23 11:54:03 PM System -170001 [Network] Established Wed 2012/04/25 08:50:10 PM System -170001 [uDSockets] RSub:30 error:6 Wed 2012/04/25 08:50:15 PM System -170001 [uDSockets] RSub:30 error:6 I'm using 3.1.17 firmware on an ISY-99i/IR Pro. I get the problem using REST (cmd/DON/nnn), which is how I discovered this. I thought (hoped) it was just me. I have only the one dimmable lamp hooked up, so I can't try another device. Any ideas? BTW, when I do the query, I often get a Java warning that the admin console might be doing something nasty, and should I block it? It defaults to Yes, but I click No. Rather annoying. I think this was from the latest Java update (Win 7 Home).
