ISY-99i to 2413 communication issues

Hello,

I have an ELK-M1 security system and in the quest to make on cohesive system I purchased the following items.

isy-99i and a 2413 PLM. Prior to using this combo I have a 2412N controlling multiple lights throughout my home.

I've installed the ISY software and can communicate with it. I then plug in the 2413 and I can confirm that the ISY see it by viewing the status in the administrative console. Beyond that I cannot get the 2413/ISY combo to find a my lights. Note: All lights were previously working with my 2412N controller alone.

To resolve this, I plugged the 2413 into sockets throughout my entire home and pressed four time to perform the phase check. Not a single one of my Insteon toggle switches responded.

Please advise me of any feedback that you may have.

Regards,

El

If you are referring to ToggleLincs none of those devices are Dual Band. They would not respond to an RF Dual Band test from the 2413 Dual Band PLM.

What was being used to couple the two 120v legs (phases) before the 2413 PLM was acquired?

What status is being checked to verify the PLM is known to the ISY?

If the PLM was plugged in after the ISY was booted up as the post suggests the PLM would not be known to the ISY.

Hello,

I just learned that I simply need to be patience while linking new devices. I was originally using firefox and things would appear to hang during linking. I switched to internet explorer and the device linking commenced almost immediately.

Regarding you questions ( to support people in the future)

Status: ISY admin console --> About PLM --> showed revision and version.

I plugged in the PLM after the ISY and I have no issue recognizing it. I have done so several times already.

I have not tried to couple the 120 V legs. I have just installed the switches and they worked immediately.

Regards,
