CalifDan Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I have an ISSY 994 and a new Insteon Thermostate. Issy will not recognize the thermostat. Any suggestions?
LeeG Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 What specific tstat type and what ISY firmware level? The tstat is an unknown type or the ISY cannot communicate with the tstat at all.

CalifDan Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 I guess what I am looking for is: Acknowledging that it is a new product, is it likely the Issy will eventually support it or, If it is not communicating with it, then why? The Thermostat is RF and there are Dual Band dimmers within 6 feet each side of the thermostat.
LeeG Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 The 2441TH is in the list of supported devices on 3.2.6. What procedure is being used to add the 2441TH to the ISY? The actual steps. Also check Help | About and verify Firmware and UI lines indicate 3.2.6.
CalifDan Posted May 20, 2012 Author Posted May 20, 2012 Firmware is 3.2.6 UI is 3.1.17 How do I update UI? To install the Thermostate, I went to Link Management, New Insteon Device. I entered the address and a name with auto detect. Nothing happens.
LeeG Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 That UI indicates either the Java cache was not cleared or the wrong URL is being used to invoke the Admin Console. I suggest following the procedure in the Wiki for adding a tstat. If that is not successful run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer with Level 3 selected. Repeat the Wiki sequence and post the event trace. It may provide some useful information.
