oberkc Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 Some insteon devices have a local control detection, where a small current passes through the load. For such devices, I percieve that they can cause problems even when off. However, I don't believe switches have this feature, so I would expect that loads connected by switches could not cause communication problems when off.
