jmed999 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Guys, I have the ISY and mobilinc which allows me to access my ISY over my dynamic DNS domain. When I added the weather module I could then see weather info in mobilinc. I have recently installed an ELK M1 Gold security system and I know I can access the Elk software with a different dynamic NDS domain but I really don't want to pay for 2 different secure domains for the two different IP addresses. Since the Elk module allows us to access the Elk M1 Gold via the ISY, is there a way I can use the ISY secure IP dynamic DNS domain to arm, disarm, etc. my Elk security system instead of paying for a 2nd one? Thanks!
Michel Kohanim Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Hi jmed999, I do not know about 3rd party applications. But, you can certainly do simple arm/disarm from our regular ISY interface (http://your.isy.ip.address) which we call UDAjax. With kind regards, Michel
apostolakisl Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 You can also put programs in ISY that do just about anything to your Elk. I don't know what mobilinc has access to, but if you can run a program from it then you essentially have full access to all Elk functions.

With kind regards, Michel This works and I have the bookmark saved on the home screen of my droid. The only problem is it goes straight to the website without asking me for a password. I feel like this is a security issue. If my phone gets stolen they could get in my house. How do I require a password on that site? Thanks!
Michel Kohanim Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Hello jmed999, You will have to clear the credentials and the next time asked for userid/password do NOT check the save checkbox. With kind regards, Michel

If you just have your phone protected with a password lock just to access the phone, it should be fine as well. I have a Business IP PBX phone with a password protected home screen and it is very safe. If someone finds your phone and it is password protected you will be safe from someone accessing any of your data.

I shouldn't need one to access a webpage.
