Techman Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Is it possible to have a program adjust the local on level of a SwitchLinc during certain times of the day? The SwitchLinc is the only device controlling the load. I know it can be done via adjust scene but this doesn't seem to have an effect on the local on level.
LeeG Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Yes it can be done and it is done with a Scene. When both parameters of the Adjust Scene (In Scene and Set) are the SwitchLinc node name the Local On Level or Local Ramp Rate is changed. When the Adjust Scene specifies the Scene name or another Controller of the Scene name in the In Scene parameter and the Set parameter has the SwitchLinc name then the Responder On Level or Responder Ramp Rate is changed for the specified Controller.
Techman Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 LeeG, many thanks. It now works fine. I didn't realize that you could use the device in lieu of the scene name.
LeeG Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 The device has to be a Controller of a Scene for it to appear in the list of candidates for the In Scene parameter. Devices that are not Controllers of a Scene do not appear in the list of candidates.
