I have a Dakota Alert DCR-2500 Wireless Receiver and DCMT-2500. How do I wire the transmiter to a I/O Linc 2450. I want to prgram some scenes in the ISY trigered by motion. On the transmiter their are 3 plugs for each channels. The 3 plugs are NO, COM and NC. Were do I connect these on the I/O Link. And in the ISY the I/O link currently shows status of on or off. Will this work for what I want to do or do I have to configure something diffrently.

Connect the I/O Linc Ground and Sense to the Com and NO relay connections for whatever channel is being used. Does not matter what is connected to what. The receiver relay Com and NO contacts act like a switch that is closed when that channel receives a signal.

 

I have the 3000 series Dakota Alert Motion Sensor which turns On with Motion for only a few seconds so the I/O Line Sensor will be On for only a few seconds.
