The install was fast and painless. Now to go out in to the world and try it!

To expensive...I'll stick to the old version. Thanks for the option though!

MobiLinc Connect is just an option. One that solves many remote connection issues experienced by our user such as:

- Changing IP addresses (ISY DHCP).

- Router/ISP changing the public IP address.

- Difficulty in setting up port forwarding.

- ISP's double filtering incoming traffic making port-forwarding impossible.

- Do not have to expose your ISY to the outside world if using MobiLinc Connect. (No port forwarding needed)

- All communication is encrypted and signed for data privacy and protection.

- Paid accounts get to use the Admin Console through MobiLinc Connect. Access your ISY anywhere with the Admin Console using MobiLinc Connect to communicate with your ISY.

 

Most of these issues might be avoided if you are network savvy.

 

If you don't want to use the features of MobiLinc Connect you can continue to direct connect to your ISY. I'd still recommend upgrading at least. You'll get the latest bug fixes and latest build of the app. Again, use of MobiLinc Connect is an option. Not required.
