oberkc
Anyone actually done something like this that works ? I have insteon and x-10 motion sensors. They work. Unfortunately, I am not smart enough to understand from your post what it is you are trying to do, or in what way your current setup is failing to do it. I am also a little unclear how an X-10 "PIR" (motion sensor?) responds to commands. Mine have no response to commands. Rather, they simply send commands based on motion and light conditions. I think he has old Flood Lights with PIRs in them that were X10 compatible. The motion sensing doesn't work anymore because they're old, but the lights still work and he can still turn them on and off with X10 commands. He wants to use his Insteon motion sensors to do the motion sensing part since the motion sensors in the lights don't work anymore. So he needs his Insteon ones to send the appropriate X10 commands for on and off to his lights. That's how I interpret it anyway... Link to comment
LeeG
Insteon Motion Sensors have no X10 capability. An ISY Program can be triggered by the Motion On message and send an X10 On. Link to comment

Yes, that should be easily doable as LeeG proposed, assuming all the proper infrastructure is in place, such as phase couplers for X-10 and insteon, RF within range, etc... Link to comment
