Sending a REST command to a KeypadLinc On/Off switch

Featured Replies

I'm trying to send a REST On or Off command to the "A" button on my KeypadLinc 6 button switch, and it doesn't appear to be working.

My command is formed this way with the address of the button:

http://192.168.xx.xx/rest/nodes/19 23 4F 3/cmd/DON

However, if I send a command with the scene address that is linked to that button it will work.

My question is is there a way to send On and Off commands to the "A","B","C","D" buttons using their button address and not their scene address?

Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure the answer is No. There's no way to send On/Off directly to the secondary buttons. ISY programs can't do that either. If the button is a scene controller, you can send On to the scene as you said. That will also light the LED on the button.

That's what I thought. Just needed to confirm.

Thanks for your help! :)
