Tunaman
I have a brand new 2441th with a sticker on it that says v1.3 on it, and I can't get it to link with the isy. I can get it to link with any other device I have. I even have a spare keypad that I have in a j-box with a plug so I can move it around the house. It can link with the thermostat, both as a controller and a responder, from anywhere in the house. I just can't get the isy99pro to link to it. When ever I try, I get an error dialog which says 'Cannot determine Insteon Engine. Link to comment
LeeG
Make sure the thermostat is Off. That message normally means there is no response to the PLM commands. An Event Viewer at LEVEL 3 while doing a New INSTEON Device will confirm. Link to comment
Tunaman
Yes thermostat was off. I'll try again with level 3 on Sent from my ARCHOS 101G9 using Tapatalk 2 Link to comment
Tunaman
Thanks Lee! Your comment about the PLM pointed me in the right direction. Looks like I had a bad cable between the PLM and the ISY. As soon as I replaced that, I was able to link the thermostat. Link to comment
