  1. Rabbit/Belias, Thanks for doing all the heavy lifting for me! I just got 4 of these sensors and this programming worked perfectly! Saved me much trial and error... Matt
  2. That worked like a charm! Thanks guys! Matt
  3. It wasn't set up in the list to the right as a responder to any scene other than what it should be - so I took fitzpatri8's advice and added it to the scene and then removed it. I will post back tonite when I get home and let you know if that worked! Matt
  4. Hi Folks, This might be an easy one to answer, but I couldn't quite figure it out. I have a pretty simple set up with quite a number of insteon devices and the 994. In my daughters room I have a keypad and a fanlinc that controls the light, and the 4 speeds of the fan (low, medium, high, off). I have 5 scenes for this - and each scene has the associated button or fanlinc toggle, along with the button on the keypadlinc. I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out why my backyard lights (outletlinc) turn off before 9pm like they are supposed to... and i finally figured it out. The Scene "Kids Bedroom Light" (which has FanLink light resource along with button on the keypadlinc) works fine - but it ALSO triggers the outletinc outside. I have no idea why this is happening - the outletlinc was one of the first thing I installed back in the day, and the fanlinc was one of the last things - I don't ever remember linking them together. How do I remove this association? Thanks in advance! Matt
  5. Repairing did the trick - I know see it cycle through "on" and then "off". I will test later with a real smoke test when the ladies aren't around - but I am confident it's working now! Matt
  6. Ok - something is not quite right - I don't see those messages - let me try and repair it with the ISY.
  7. Hi Folks - a quick question on this topic - I just set up (4) linked detectors and then linked the 4th to the smoke bridge. I linked the Smoke Bridge to my ISY and all is good there (I see 7 resources). I am seeing the same behaviour on the Test button - where it changes to "on" but never to "off". All the other resources have no value - even after a query from ISY - no value. Is that expected behavior? Or is there a way to get a value in there? I know I could do a "set". Matt
  8. Hello! What other electricity monitors does the ISY support besides Brultech? I have been trying to get in touch with them for 2 months about buying a unit with a zigbee module but they maybe are out of business - I have gotten zero replies from the support email and the forums. Thanks! Matt
  9. That was indeed an easy fix! I thought I looked there, but obviously not... Thanks for the quick response! Matt
  10. Hi Folks, I thought this would work pretty easily w/o any programs. I have the fanlinc and the keypadlinc all hooked up. I have 4 scenes for the Fan (High, Med, Low, Off) and the respective keypadlinc button and the fanlinc-fan are part of the scenes. The scenes are then adjusted to High,Med,Low,Off. When I activate the scenes from ISY, everything works as expected. When I hit any of the KPL buttons (High, Med, Low, Off) the fan immediately goes to "On" - instead of the preset scene speed. That is the first problem - and then the next is going to be to make sure that only one of the Keypad Fan lights is on at any given time - but I think I can accomplish that with a program. Thanks in advance! Matt
  11. I might be not quite understanding this, but my ECM doesn't have the zigbee module... its just serial... so it sounds like I would need to ugprade that also... Matt
  12. Ok - I see what you are saying. Can you add it to the list of enhancements... it seems like a pretty simple thing to connect to the port and wait for it to send the ASCII data over (in my earlier email) as opposed to writing a command string and retrieving the data. I am using the supported ECM Engine by Brultech. I can't use the EP1 due to the fact that I don't have network connectivity by my monitor. I use a RS232 connection over bluetooth to get the data to my server. Thanks, Matt
  13. Hi Mike, My ECM1240 is sending data via serial to the ECM1240 software running on a PC. On that PC I have it set to "forward data" via the "Custom" tab, and then "Forward Data Via TCP/IP (Server)" As I said I can see the ISY connecting, but get the read acknowledge error. Help! Thanks, Matt
  14. What am I doing wrong on the brultech side? I have the listener on my server on port 8084. When I connect up to http://192.168.0.252:8084 I get an open session, and a posting of this every xx seconds: CH1PAa=1015&CH2PAa=3&CH1PPa=0&CH2PPa=2&CH1Aa=8.4&CH2Aa=0.7&Paux1a=91&Paux2a=0&Paux3a=0&Paux4a=112&Paux5a=450&KWhCH1a=23080.199&KWhCH2a=16667.467&KWhAux1a=969.899&KWhAux2a=292.014&KWhAux3a=141.008&KWhAux4a=1585.818&KWhAux5a=1726.282&Timea=22:13:52&Volta=123.3&DevSNa=142267 But when the isy tries to check it - MOD-EM-BRULTECH: Read Acknowledge Failed Any ideas? Thanks, Matt
  15. Hi Michel, Any word on when 3.1.7 will be up and available? Thanks!
