Hello, I am in need of help creating a garage door program in my Polisy. I have a garage door with a ZWave tilt sensor on it. The Garage door opener is a Chamberlain brand opener with a pushbutton wall switch. I have a Zooz Zen16 relay wired directly to the pushbutton wall switch. My Polisy is connected to Alexa and I have a simple program that momentarily closes contact to the pushbutton wall switch in both "Then' and "Else" fields. I can use the commands "Alexa, open the garage door." or "Alexa close the garage door". Here is my problem. In reality, it does not matter if I command Alexa to "open" or "close" the garage door. Essentially the pushbutton wall switch is activated and the garage door will travel to the opposite of it's current position. Therefore, if I forget that the garage door is closed and I command Alexa to "Close" the door, it will open. I have set up the tilt sensor to create a state variable. "Off" if the door is closed and "On" if the door is open. Here is where I am stuck. I want to command Alexa to "Close" the garage door and in the program check to see if the door is open or closed. If it is already close it should do nothing. If it is "open" then it activates the pushbutton. And I want the same to happen if I command Alexa to "Close" the garage door. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks for your time.

I have a reliability issue with the ZEN31 LED dimmer. I have six of them on the top and bottom my kitchen cabinets. (I am working with Zooz support on this issue as well) At sunset a program turns on and sets various intensity levels to four Z-Wave switches and two Insteon switches. It also triggers the "Then" of a separate program that sets six ZEN31 dimmers as such: Red-0, Green-0 ,Blue-0, Warm White-255, Intensity-50%. At 9:00pm a program turns off one Z-Wave switch and then sets the six ZEN31 dinners as such: Red-0, Blue-255, Green-0, Warm White-0, Intensity 25%. My problem is that intermittently some the ZEN31 dimmers do not respond correctly. I have been tracking it for nearly a year and the issue is random throughout the six ZEN31 and not in any sort of recognizable pattern. However, the Z-Wave and Insteon devices work flawlessly. I have ruled out distance as an issue. My system is a Polisy with a new ZMatter board. (the previous was a Zooz Zwave dongle) IoX version 5.5.9 Has anyone experienced this kind of issue? Thank you

Thank you Asbril. I checked to see if my thermostats are addressed as ZY and they are. I decided to try again. So I deleted the Thermostats from the Alexa app. Then deleted the devices from the ISY portal connected to Alexa. I did not exclude the Thermostats from the ZWave system as everything is working fine there. I re-added the thermostats in Alexa. Ran discovery in Alexa. They were both discovered by Alexa, but I get a message from Alexa that the Thermostats are not responding. I am happy to try any other suggestions. I'm sorry that I am unable do offer you any suggestions with your issue. I am not experienced with using Variables and routines through Alexa. All the best,

A few days ago I migrated to Zmatter. I first upgraded to version 5.5.3. Struggled through the devices that did not successfully migrate. Now the only issue I cannot resolve is to regain control of my Go Control Zwave thermostat through Alexa. I have two of the thermostats in my home and they both do not respond to Alexa. They do respond perfectly through the IoX system. This is what I have done. Deleted old thermostats in Alexa App. Deleted thermostat connection to Alexa in the ISY Portal Un-included and re-included the thermostats 3 times. Factory reset both thermostats twice. Alexa seems to discover the thermostats but says that they are not responding when asked to perform a command. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thank you.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have followed the process in the wiki that you suggested many times in the past and just now in case I overlooked something. No Change. I'm running Windows 11 Browser is Chrome Both computers are on WiFi. When I try to access Polyglot V2 it sends me directly to the Portal Login website. When I try to access Polyglot V3 it will not connect to address https://my.isy.io:3000 I am curranty using computer #2 away from home and connecting to the IoP via internet. I do not know about VLAN but I suspect not. It is a simple home network. Thank you,

I have a Polisy Pro and two computers. One computer I can access Polyglot V2 and V3. The other computer will not access either Polyglot versions. Both computers are able to run the IoP software version 5.4.4. The second computer is newer and I take it with me when I am away from the house. The first computer stays home and is always on. I have been accessing the Polyglot V2 and V3 when I am away from home through the first computer by using the remote software Teamviewer. I would like to finally resolve my problem. I have looked through the forums and help sites and clicked around the IoP software with no luck. Please help walk me through the setup. Thanks

Hello Lilyoyo1, I am unable to locate the the Zwave only firmware. I am confused. I am currently running ISY 5.3.4 firmware. Is there a different firmware for the 994i box? Thank you

I am switching over to a Polisy from an ISY994i in small steps. I only have a handful of Insteon products but today I moved my PLM over to my Polisy from my ISY994i. I had no issue with the transfer. However, I am still running a substantial amount of ZWave devices and programs on the ISY994i. The ISY994i is now running in safe mode because it cannot find the PLM and none of the Z wave devices or programs are responding. Is there any way that the ISY994i can run ZWave only? Thank you

I am slowly switching over from my ISY994i to ISY on Polisy. I found a posting on this topic posted on 12/13/21 and followed the direction (or so I thought). Somewhere along the line I made a few errors and now I have confused myself. Here is what I did. Polyglot Settings: Address/Hostname - Changed IP address the the Polisy address. 192.168.1.144 Port - Changed to 8080 Username - Entered username Password - Entered Password Use HTTPS - unchecked MYQTT Setting: Address/Hostname - localhost (Already set. I did not need to change) (Here is where I believe I went wrong) MQTT Port - ****** I changed it to 8080. (I cant remember the original port number.)****** Reset Ran Putty command sudo rm -rf/var/isy/FILES/CONF Noticed that I probably should not have changed MYQTT port and changed it to 8083 (That is possibly the original port number might be but am not sure) Reset Ran Putty I get message that ISY automatically detected needs Username and password. I have entered the info with no success. And Polisy does not show up on ISY Finder App
