Programs fail to activate Insteon
I migrated from an ISY994 to eisy several month ago. All commands in the event log were generated by eisy. I'm not certain of the sequence of events that I went through this AM. I know I initially tried to access the devices through the dashboard. The off commands may have been generated through the Mobile App. I will review the trouble shooting links and see if I can figure out the issue. I guess that I could always go back to my ISY994 or the Insteon Director app:) When I migrated to eisy I a;lso updated my PLM Could that be an issue? Thank you for your help.

Programs fail to activate Insteon
The event viewer log is attached. This morning I could not control any of the devices from the console. I could control them with the app. Programs - I use separate programs for each device. The are all the same except for the random times. Sample for one of the devices willl follow. I have tried grouping all of the devices into one program but results aren't much better. Bakers Rack Light LL On - [ID 001C][Parent 0004] If Time is Sunset - 32 minutes Then Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' Query Wait 1 minute (Random) Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' On Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' On Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' On Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') I added the following program due to the issues that I was having All On - [ID 002B][Parent 001A] If Time is 8:30:00PM Then Set 'Back Door LL' Query Set 'Back Door LL' On Set 'Den LL' Query Set 'Den LL' On Set 'Dining Room LL' Query Set 'Dining Room LL' On Set 'Living Room Table LL' Query Set 'Living Room Table LL' On Set 'Outside Lights LL Module' Query Set 'Outside Lights LL Module' On Set 'Front Hall LL' Query Set 'Front Hall LL' On Set 'Living Room Chest LL' Query Set 'Living Room Chest LL' Fast On Set 'Front Door LL' Query Set 'Front Door LL' On Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' Query Set 'Bakers Rack Light LL' On Set 'Sun Porch Table LL' Query Set 'Sun Porch Table LL' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') As respects the issue with the login - I am running an ethernet connection. Programs fail to activate Insteon
I migrated from a ISY994 to eisy several months ago. I use eisy to control Insteon light switches with a simple program turning them on at sunset and off at a set time. Everything worked fine until recently. Initial problem was that a couple of switches would not turn on from the program It would be different switches on different nights. I could manually turn them on from the app but often had to press the "On" button several times. OFF program turned all devices off. I deleted both programs and set up the programs again. Last night - same issue with the ON program - 2 devices did not turn on. With the OFF program - 6 of the 10 devices failed to turn off at the prescribed time. I noted today that when I go into the Administrative console that 2 devices were not initially recognized (not the same 2 that did not turn on last night). I could query them and eventually they were recognized. I've had this issue in the past also. A new issue arose - periodically I would be asked to re-enter my user name and password. Any thoughts - this is very aggravating

ISY Portal
I have reviewed the web pages on the Polisy but am uncertain as to how it solves the PLM problem. How does the Polisy interact with the Insteon devices. I still run some legacy X10s. Will it also work with them?

ISY Portal
I am currently running an ISY994 with portal access at my home and an Insteon Hub at my Beach House. With the demise of Insteon, I will need to replace the hub. Assuming I purchase an ISY for my Beach House, do I need to add another portal account or can I add the new location / ISY to my existing portal account. Do you know if the Insteon PLM is still available and if so at what price. Thanks, Sal

Toggle Link issue
Thanks everyone for the advice. I will try the factory reset and taking the switch out of the system and direct wire the light (or put in a traditional switch). I also have a z-wave switch that I will try.

Toggle Link issue
1) Not sure how to factory reset the device 2) I can only turn the lights back on if the floodlights are off. When the outside light turns off, the LED on the Togglelinc stays off - as if the outside light was actually still on. I believe that, in addition to being on separate circuits, that the floodlight breaker and the breaker of the togglelinc are on separate busses. There is no photocell involved. Strange as this circuit has been set up for some time. I did recently have a new heat pump installed and that involved moving some breakers around in the box but I don't believe these two circuits were involved.

Toggle Link issue
I've had an odd issue crop up. I have a Toggle Link controlled through an ISY program turning on / off an exterior light . Has worked fine for quite some time. Recently it stopped coming on. The light on the controller was off so apparently the ISY and Toggle Link thought it was on. If I fiddled with either the toggle on the switch or tried turning it on from the ISY it would eventually come on. Turning off from the programming was never an issue. Trying to figure out the issue I rebooted the ISY and everything seemed to work fine. The controller is in a 4 gang box. Switch next to it (not a smart switch) turns on the floodlights. Last night I noted that if I turn the floodlights on, the light controlled by the Toggle Link turns off. Turn the floodlights off and the light comes back on. They are on separate circuits. Any ideas? I was going to replace the Toggle Link but try finding one. They are as rare as Hens Teeth

New to Z-Wave
Thanks everyone. Got the switch up and running
-
New to Z-Wave
In the Admin Console I can see the option to add a device and to remove a device that has been added. How do I exclude it?
-
New to Z-Wave
I am running 5.30 on both. With the bench set up the switch was no more than 5 feet from the ISY

New to Z-Wave
I've been running Insteon and X-10 for years but have no experience with Z-Wave. I've added the dongle and the module. Trying to add an Enbrighten Toggle Switch. First thing I did was do a factory reset of the dongle. Next clicked Add Z-Wave Device. Window pops up searching for device. Directions for Enbrighten say to press up and release the toggle to add it to the network. ISY never sees the switch. I did a bench test and put the switch right next to the ISY and it still doesn't see it. I have read the documentation for ISY / Z-Wave and thing I have done everything that I should have to get it set up. What am I missing? Thanks.

Alexa Devices
No - I forgot all about the portal. I made the changes in the administrative console and thought that would do it. Thanks - that solved it.

Alexa Devices
I have had Alexa set up with my ISY and working well. I had a switch go bad and replaced it. I reprogrammed in the ISY and it works fine. When I rescan for devices in Alexa it keeps coming up with the old device. I "Forget" it and rescan but it continues to come up with the old device. Device name for the old and new switch are the same but renaming it does not help - Alexa continues to see the old switch and not the new one. Any ideas? Thanks
