I set up a simple program with a custom notification (see below). Oddly, when I take out the line "Wait 20 seconds" the notification gets sent when the "If" clause is true, but with the "Wait" line it does NOT send the notification. I can confirm 100% that the program runs otherwise because the AC unit is turning Off and I can see the tempurature fluctuating throughout the night on a Netbotz temp log. (I have another program that turns the 'AC' module On.) Last night it toggled on and off on 30-40 min intervals at least 6 time which means 12 notifications... but I got none. The reason I added the Wait clause is b/c the status was not reading correctly... I assume that the 'AC' module did not have enough time to turn off and update. Also, when I run the "Then" clause the program sends the notification. I thought it could be a problem with the timer but since it sends when I run the 'Then', I ruled that out. Very odd. To reiterate, the program does run without the 'Wait 20 seconds' line. I have tried different delays as well... from 1-20 seconds... nothing. I have a ISY 994i; Firmware and UI v.3.3.4. If Status 'Thermo Server' <= 80 (Tempurature) And Staus AC is On Then Set 'AC' Off Wait 20 seconds Send Notification tp 'Ops' content 'Status Thermo' Else - No Actions -

I don't quite understand. I do have the fan set to Auto but I do not get an update for whether it is on or off. Is that correct?

That makes sense... what about the Fan node?

i do have four nodes and i am on firmware 2.7.15. i will follow the procedure next time i experience the problem. at the moment, the fan and heat nodes are not reading a state at all (neither on or off)... does that sound correct? but the thermostats all seem to be functioning properly... they are all set to cool and the cool control is "on" or "off" as appropriate.

My thermostats are 2441V thermo adapter v.91... are they v2?

I have not. I do periodically reboot the system and it seems to resolve for some period of time.

What would be the best app to use so that I may access my 99i PRO interface through an IPAD? And what is the process for installing?

I have 4 thermostats... on one of them the fan control constantly reads "ON" whether the fan is ON or OFF. I have delinked and relinked the device which solves the issue for about a week and then it happens again. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I am using four new thermostats and ISY 99i v 2.7.9 the new thermostat controller monitors the state of the main unit as well as the cool control, fan control, and the heat control (as separate controls). for some reason, certain thermostat fan controls read "ON" at the specific control level even though the fan is off. at the main control level, the fan control is set to "AUTO". to temporarily resolve the issue, i remove the module from my ISY, add it back, and it resolves for some period of time... but then it happens again within a few days.

Same thing happens to me when I log in. I then close my browser, clear java cache and i am usually able to get in. i agree... it shoudn't be such a process to simply log in. by the way, i also had trouble upgrading today but i seem to be experiancing a different hang up in the install process.

I downloaded the file and got over 98% through the upgrade... but I then got an error message "Upgrade Failed:Invalid Length". Please advise.

I would like the RemoteLinc buttons to execute programs in the ISY 99i PRO. However, the last state of the buttons are not maintained in the ISY. Does this matter? When I hit a button on the RemoteLinc will is simply send an ON or OFF signal to the ISY? Can I then write a program that picks up on that signal through an "IF" statement and executes a program? Is is that simple?

what does the program status indicate on the program tab in the isy 99i? it does not seem to correlate to whether it is running or not.

I unistalled the Keypad and reinstalled it while allowing the ISY to decern its type. I did not appear to work at first... but then I checked the ISY and the ramp rate was set to 9m and the on level was set to 0... i adjusted both and it worked. Thank you. By the way, the version is v.36. Guess there are many quirks to address. Chris... does the above help you? Check the status of the button you are trying to control in both your scene and at the button level in my lighting. Before reinstalling the button that I was tryinng to command was not being added to the scene.

By the way, I just checked and several of my relays, dimmers say "v.00". my system oeverall has been a little quirky. could this be the cause? i would hate to have to uninstall and reinstall all the devices. -jcip

Michel, Is there an upgrade availible that you know of? The keypad I own is the 'KeypadLinc Dimmer 8 Button v.00'. Can you tell if I own an old version? Does it make sense that double clicking the button C (or any button that is programmed to control the load) turns on the load button on that keypad? By the way, all my equipment was purchased within the last 6 weeks. I own the ISY 99iu Pro v2.7.6, several relays and Keypads... how can the equipment be that stale? I presume these are all questions for Insteon? Thank for your help.

Michel, Thank you for the reply. I did check that... it was not the problem. I did notice something though. When I click on button C within "My lighting", it DOES show that it manages the light in question (button A). However, when I click on button C within the scene I created for button C, it DOES NOT show button A. I tried to delete the scene and recreate it... button A will not allow itself to be controled by button C on the same keypad. I also set up a test of a similar scenario on another keypad... same issue. The keypad load button does not allow itself to be controlled by a button on the same keypad as far as I can tell. Does this make sense?

I have an 8 button keypad with button A controlling the load to a light. Button C is a scene with Button A in it. When I hit Button C, button A does not go on and neither does the light. When I hit button C 2x fast, button A goes on and the light goes on. Also, when I run that same scene from another keypad, it works as expected. How do I get button A to be controlled by button C clicking button C once?
