  1. I have 2 switches that are giving me problems. On is a non dimming switch that I have had to reset several times to get it back online and now it will work in a program situation but, not when directly tapping the button. The other is a dimming switch and it went out all together so, I tried resetting it and it worked for a few minutes now, the led’s on the switch just flash in a sequence and I can’t get it to reset or do anything. Do I need to replace them or am I missing something?
  2. I have one eero pro. I am having issues with getting the eero to see the ethernet devices. IE: The apple tv ethernet will drop to the ethernet connection and go to the wireless. I still haven't been able to get the eero to see my ISY994i over ethernet along with other hard wired devices. I haven't been able to return to this problem but it was suggested to check with the firewalls and security built into the eero pro. This maybe where the fault lies. Thank you for your help.
  3. I have been able to connect with the ISY and got the IP address from it, also it is in DHCP. I did this with the old pancake extreme. It now will connect to the eeros for a second after I reset it or the eero. The lights on the front are all off except for occasional communications and it is on the eero network. I can see it for a second, enough for hte admin console to lock the URL but, then it goes away just as fast. When I first connected I was able to reload my programs and settings but, I saved it twice, restarted it and now it won't stay connected or bring up the GUI, just the admin console. I've got a ticket going on eero but, they are so vague about any answers they give me. I'm realizing how much ao don't know about networking. According to an article that gviliunas sent me I have set my eero to bridge mode which is how I ran the airport extremes before. The ISY doesn't show up on the devices list of the eero so, I just don't know which side of the coin the problem exists.
  4. SO, a new development. I can only see the isy a short time before it disappears and it doesn't show up on the eero connected devices. Any thoughts out there with eero users? I have used wifi and wired and it shows up for an instant but, not long enough for me to load up the GUI. I am going to question eero support also but, they have been very vague with any answers.
  5. My home is small enough that even with the concrete walls, I get a good signal throughout. Now in the larger homes that I work in for a home theater and lighting company, we use the eero pro almost exclusively. I have thrown in some things to make it hard such as, Apple airport expresses to send music through the house. That will most likely change as these die, slowly over time I hope. Thank you again.
  6. I will have to put a different switch inline. The one I'm using is actually out of my road kit and it's one of the linksys 8 port compact and there are no adjustments. I will get one inline and give that a try. Thank you
  7. Thank you. I do not get a light on in the back of the isy. On the ethernet cable, I only get one light come on solid and it doesn't blink at the isy but, only one on at the switch will blink with the other device's cables plugged into the switch. I have replaced the switch and all the cables. The mac address doesn't show up in the router's list for the ATT gateway or the eero pro. I am going to plug in into the old router and see what I can glean from that and if it will communicate with it. Thank you for your input.
  8. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my isy994. I've held the reset button in for over a minute and the lights do what the instructions say but, when it comes back on, the power, tx and rx are lit solid and the error light is flashing. I have also reset the PLM and it has a green light.I don't see that sequence listed anywhere. I had taken a hit from lightning about a month ago that took out my ATT Gateway, the Apple extreme tower and an airport express. I'm pretty sure it came in on the ATT lines which, have to be direct without any kind of line conditioning. The home system and all programs were working as usual and I could bring up the administration page and turn on and off lights for the last month. I had a 6 button switch stop working except thru the software and was able to reset it and reprogram it using the saved data file. I replaced my old pancake extreme with the eeros since, I use them when working with a home theater installer and they do a great job of covering the houses with wifi. I am continuing to read up on what information is available but, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
  9. I have held the button in for over a minute and it just cycles through the all flash and sequential flashing but, never goes to the single memory light flashing.
  10. I don't remember if I did set a static IP or left it DHCP. Right now all I get is the error light flashing and I've done the reset procedure but, it won't go into the factory reset mode to reformat the sd card. I just don't think I'm able to connect to it. If you have another suggestion, I would appreciate it.
  11. I can't seem to get my isy994 to connect thru my network after replacing the modem from an apple extreme to an eero pro. I've reset the isy994 and still not getting internet to it. Other wired devices are showing up on the eero mobile app but, not the ISY994. What am I missing? The gateway from ATT feeds internet to the eero pro then the wired devices are connected to a Linksys 8 port switch. Then the ISY994 is connected to the switch.
