  1. No problems with the upgrade to 3.3.5, and my dual band relay KPL (2487S) is now recognized and fully accessible. Thanks!
  2. LeeG, Thanks for the info - I found this thread, looks like it's not an isolated issue: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=6922&start=15
  3. I'm having the same problem as the OP trying to add a dual band relay KPL, and am running 3.3.4. I can successfully add the device, but it comes up as an unsupported device. While it responds, I have no access to the scene buttons via the ISY/My lighting. I also posted in the 3.3.4 thread. Glad to know a few other people have had the same issue, hopefully it can get resolved soon!
  4. I've upgraded to 3.3.4 without any major issues, except that I've occasionally had trouble adding devices to the ISY. One I've been having trouble with is a dual band on/off KPL (2487S). I can add the device successfully, except that is is always added as an "unsupported device:2.44" I can control the KPL, but none of the other 4 buttons are added to the device list. I'd appreciate any help, I've attached a portion of the event viewer log in case it's helpful: Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:41 PM : [20 41 d5 ] Added to list of devices to link to ISY Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:41 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 20 41 D5 0F 0D 00 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:41 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 20.41.D5 0F 0D 00 06 (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:42 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 20.41.D5 12.9E.54 27 0D 02 (02) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:42 PM : [std-Direct Ack] 20.41.D5-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=1 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:42 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 20 41 D5 0F 10 00 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:42 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 20.41.D5 0F 10 00 06 ID-REQ (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:42 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 20.41.D5 12.9E.54 23 10 00 ID-REQ (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:42 PM : [std-Direct Ack] 20.41.D5-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=0 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:51 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 20 41 D5 0F 10 00 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:51 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 20.41.D5 0F 10 00 06 ID-REQ (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 20.41.D5 12.9E.54 23 10 00 ID-REQ (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [std-Direct Ack] 20.41.D5-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=0 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 20.41.D5 02.2C.41 87 01 00 (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [std-Broadcast] 20.41.D5-->02.2C.41, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=1 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [20 41 D5 0 ] Calibrating engine version Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [iNST-TX-I2CS] 02 62 20 41 D5 1F 2F 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 D0 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 20.41.D5 1F 2F 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 D0 06 (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 20.41.D5 12.9E.54 27 2F 00 (00) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:52 PM : [std-Direct Ack] 20.41.D5-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=1 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:53 PM : [iNST-ERX ] 02 51 20 41 D5 12 9E 54 12 2F 00 00 01 0F FF 20 A2 00 12 9E 54 FF 1F 01 DD Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:53 PM : [Ext-Direct ] 20.41.D5-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=2, Hops Left=0 Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:53 PM : [20 41 D5 0 ] Using Database Link Table offset 0x0FF8 (reported 0x0FF8) Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:54 PM : [20 41 D5 1 ] Start : Adding device to ISY Sat 12/01/2012 08:33:54 PM : [20 41 D5 1 ] Finish : Adding device to ISY was Successful
  5. LeeG, I managed to add the leak sensor after setting the device type to the leak sensor instead of leaving it on Auto Discover. Thanks again!
  6. LeeG, Thanks for the help, I'm definitely running 3.3.4 on both Firmware and UI. I'm using "new insteon device" menu to add item as you described, and still coming up with the same result, the output from the log is: Fri 11/16/2012 06:11:50 PM : [21 4e f2 ] Added to list of devices to link to ISY Fri 11/16/2012 06:12:14 PM : [21 4E F2 0 ] Cannot determine device type Fri 11/16/2012 06:12:14 PM : [21 4E F2 0 ] Failed to add device
  7. Upgraded to 3.3.4 thinking that my ISY99 would now be able to support the new insteon leak sensor (2852-222). No problems with the upgrade process, and everything is working normally. However, I'm unable to add the leak sensor to the ISY. When I attempt to do so, the ISY states it "cannot determine the insteon device type" Is the leak sensor not fully supported yet? I have Rev1.05 of the leak sensor, if that makes a difference.
  8. Thanks for the help, adding the device back to the scene and then removing it again from the scene worked to remove the residual link. I guess the process of removing the device did not actually get completed even though the links were gone in the membership tree. Interestingly, the link record for the KPL in the switchlinc is no longer even in the links table LeeG - is there a thread or wiki page on how to decipher the flags in the links table, such as the one you mentioned? I see a lot of A2 and E2, and would like to understand how to read the links table.
  9. Thanks for the response! Yes, the swtichlincs in the scene will respond to the keypadlinc, but not vice versa. It's a six button non-dimming KPL with 0F.95.57 as the address, the main buttons (ON/OFF) were the ones involved in the scene. I found this in the links table of one of the switchlincs, is this what the KPL link would look like? 0FF0 : A2 01 0F.95.57 FF 1F 01 If so, any recommendations on how to remove the residual link?
  10. I'm trying to remove a keypadlinc from a scene that also has several otherl switchlincs. I tried doing so via the ISY, using the "remove from scene" function. The ISY seemed to complete the removal; however, the keypadlinc continues to control the scene. The swtichlincs do not appear to control the keypadlinc however, so the removal was at least partially successful. I tried the "restore device" on the keypadlinc, which did not fix the problem, and then factory reset the keypadlinc followed by another restore, which also was not effective. I tried looking the ISY links table for the keypadlinc, and I do see the other the addresses from the switchlincs in the scene still in the table, so it looks like the removal was not complete. Is there a straightforward way to remove the residual links in keypadlinc? I'd rather not completely remove the device from the ISY, as the other buttons on the keypadlinc are all pretty heavily linked in other scenes, but it doesn't look like there's a way of directly removing links that are stored in the ISY table. Thanks for the help. I'm running 3.1.14
  11. Michael, Forgot to ask, is there a way I can save this java applet (if that's the right term?) as a freestanding application, so that I won't need a browser to access the administrative console? Thanks, Perry
  12. Michael, Yup that seemed to work! About the only issue I can see now is that the window no longer fits on the screen (my screen is 1280 x 800), so it require a little bit of scrolling, but definitely not a big deal! Thanks for your help! Perry
  13. Sort of worked The add button is now there, but now the text field is gone. Also the SMTP settings area shrunk quite a bit. I actually got it to work by accessing from a PC, so it's definitely a Mac Java issue.
  14. I've been setting up and enjoying my new ISY99, but encountered an odd problem when trying to add email recipients to the notifications - there's no "add" button! So I haven't been able to successfully add recipients. I'm accessing my ISY on a mac running OS 10.6.2, I've cleared the java cache, and used various browsers, all with no effect. Any help would be appreciated! I've attached an image in case it helps!
