  1. I had the updated UD Mobile app at the time of my post and had configured Matter. But when I tried adding a Wi-Fi Matter outlet module it failed.
  2. I'm overall pretty confused. My update seems to have gone as expected. After also updating the app I saw the matter option. After enabling it and rebooting Eisy it have option to add matter device via barcode. I have a plug in Wi-Fi outlet. I reset the device, scanned with UD Mobile and got the error 500 several times Didn't work. I see no options in the app or mobile for connecting with thread routers. I thought the app was getting an overhaul. I thought the admin console was getting an overhaul and getting rid of the Java interface. For what is supposed to be a big update, I really don't see any differences or anything new. Is it just me?

  4. Neither my router or operating system have changed in the last 2 years. I've been able to access Polyglot previously. I can't think of anything that's changed. Unless I'm missing something, I did append the port to :3000 as I shared in my previous posts. I've also typed the address in directly and omitted the "s" and only used http: I just tried manually enter.... New thought: I've been entering addresses into Chrome (and I was clear about that). I just tried entering http://IpAddress:8080/desc into the iox finder and it appears to have worked. If this is where I was supposed to be all along, we were on different pages. I think I'm back in business. Thanks all for your help!
  5. To be fair, I think I've as explicitly as possible explained what's happening above. I'll share screenshots.
  6. 1. Why is the link in the Universal Devices admin console taking me to a remote location and not where it is supposed to go? 2. I tried the local ip address. See my response to paulbates above. 3. I typed http://eisy.local:3000 directly into the Chrome browser and it still goes nowhere: This site can’t be reached Check if there is a typo in eisy.local. If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN Note, I have also tried unplugging the EISY for a few minutes.
  7. I believe that's what I'm doing. I'm starting on a PC on the same network as eisy. In the Admin Console, when I go to Plugins/Launch Polyglot V3, it opens a web page with the address https://my.isy.io:3000/. Chrome, Windows 11.
  8. I tried this by inserting the eisy's local IP address as found in the Admin Console under Configuration / System / IP Address. If prompted with the security warning I dismissed it and said to proceed. Still didn't work. I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 11 for what it's worth.
  9. What am I doing wrong? In the Admin Console, when I go to Plugins/Launch Polyglot V3, a web browser page opens to the address https://my.isy.io:3000/ but the page never loads. I get: This site can’t be reached my.isy.io took too long to respond.
  10. Thanks @robgarrett Great write up!
  11. Thanks for the heads up, @Geddy! FWIW, I've been home automating since 1999 starting with X-10 and IBM Home Director. After that, an early adopter to Insteon and HAL2000 by automated living. I moved to the ISY99 when it became a thing. I'm aware of what life on the edge is (I've been on it for 25 years). But I'm not a programmer by any means. I am patiently impatient (?). Excited, I guess, at new prospects. As such, when it's discussed that something is very, very close, I anticipate release of some sort somewhat soon. I am aware Matter is a mess (I mean, Google is behind it, after all 🙄). I come here looking for updates because @Michel Kohanim is a reliable straight shooter. So, after 8 months I was looking for an inside scoop from someone in the know as to the State of Matter - hoping it isn't slipping into the vapor.
  12. Thanks for the update!
  13. SONOFF Zigbee Switch, SNZB-01P Wireless Push Button https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL9JTMWF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Control multiple devices by single press, double press, and long press Currently, I've been able to pair this button with EISY, but only the double press action seems to be received.
  14. I was hoping to hear something from @Michel Kohanim. For the last year it sounded like UDI was close, but seem to have fallen silent. I'm not inferring it's a UDI problem, but it would be helpful as I expand outside Insteon, to have some idea what's going on. I now have Aqara FP2's, Zigbee wireless buttons and Zigbee hose valves. They are either not compatible with EISY, or are not playing nice out of the box. I'm beginning to split things up between EISY and Home Assistant on a pi. It's becoming "not pretty".
  15. Any news?
