  1. Problem solved! Year was right, but month was off, showing Feb. Don't know how this happened, since I use the "Sync with computer time" option, and the computer shows the correct date. Anyway, thanks so much for the prompt replys and quality devices! Charlie
  2. Pacific Time zone, GMT-8. 33.6 Lat, 117.2 Long. Just a little southeast of LA. If I just use the pre set-up LA location, sunset is also about 30 mins late. Thanks, Charlie
  3. My ISY is a couple years old and has been quite reliable. Had to reboot it and the PLM a couple days ago. I have set a custom location. Now the calculated suset time is about 30 mins late. Have reset location coordinates, with same result. Running ver 2.6.4. Suppose I could just set a location somewhat east to fool the ISY, but any better ideas? Charlie
  4. Update to 2.6.4 did it! Thanks for the great support, Michel. Charlie
  5. Trying to control ISY-26 from ATT Tilt. No luck, but I saw in the B;ackberry discussion that somebody did get it working, So, what's the secret. I get as far as the "keep this page open screen" and at one point was able to select devices, but issuing an ON or OFF command brought a "This page cannot be found". Can't find anyplace to turn off JAVA, like Blackberry did. Did everything slowly to avoid timeout issues. Oh, running ver 2.6.1 in the ISY. TIA, Charlie
  6. Thanks, Chris That's exactly what I have already. I just didn't want to be surprised as the days get longer.
  7. I want to turn a light over the outdoor BBQ on at sunset and off at 7PM the same day. If sunset is after 7PM, will this timer just be ignored, or will it turn the light on and not turn it off? If there is a problem, what programing is suggested? Thanks, Charlie
  8. With a couple of Insteon devices (a Lamplinc and a switchlinc) I found that they didn't respond to the ON command, given directly from the ISY device page, but did turn on when the "fast On" command was given. OFF works just fine. Dimming rate was set to the very fastest. In this case not a real problem, as I just switched to the Fast On in timers, but has anyone else noticed this type of behavior? Charlie
  9. Today we had a power outage which lasted thru the time for a series of drape and light actions timed off of sunset. I was gone during the period, and later found that the ISY had rebooted and had carried out these some 8-10 actions about one and a half hours after schedule. I was pleasently surprised. In contrast one drape still on an X-10 timer was still open. I'm impressed by the recovery capabilities. Thought the ISY finally missed a light turn-on the other day, but turned out to be a burned out bulb! Great device and outstanding support.
  10. I first admit I know nothing about Wiki's. The command list is great! I wanted to print it out and study it, and maybe get some ideas on how to be a little more elegant with the ISY. On the left side of the screen is Toolbox and "Printable version" Great! It printed out as six pages formated no where near as well as the display list. What am I doing wrong? Again, thanks for doing this work!
  11. That should do it! Thanks to both of you. Is there a list of commands and terms the unit understands? I saw a couple examples in the user quide, but no command list. If it doesn't look like Fortran I'm lost!
  12. How far away is contol software which would run on an Axim X30 running Windows Mobile? So far ISY works very well, even over the internet, and never misses a timer event. Now I want to contol things without going to the computer. Thanks for a great device, Charlie
  13. For Drape control I want to send an ON command at a certain time, and then an OFF command a short time later. (to Insteon appliance modules) Can this be done with one command/program, or do I need 2 separate timers? What would the code look like?
