  1. I think the link is still in the hardware. In Polisy, the relay for garage door B has no links and neither does button B. I guess I don't really need to worry about it for now. Maybe if I start trying to get fancy and have Alexa open the door for some reason.
  2. I made a scene with button A, the Insteon garage door opener and the associated sensor. That worked to open the garage door, as I had it set up before. The B and C buttons were setup to open the other two doors and D opened all of them. Even after the reset, but before I added B,C, and D to scenes, they still work as before. Not sure why. I didn't reset the opener side. Maybe it re-established the link? ISY isn't showing a link in the admin console. I like that it is working, but not that it is working for an unknown reason.
  3. FW and UI are both Polisy v5.4.3 Resetting it did the trick on the lights. Now for some more studying to figure out how to get it to control the other light circuit and the doors. Thanks!
  4. I started adding my Insteon devices to the Polisy this morning. In my detached garage, I had a keypad with 6 buttons - on, off, and A through D. A through D controlled the three garage door controllers and the on/off buttons controlled the lights. I expected the doors to become disconnected from it when I started over, but not the lights. When I press the buttons, nothing happens. When I use the UD mobile app, they turn on. In the mobile app the keypad shows up as a single switch. In the admin console, I can see that it has button configuration is available for A thru D, but not the on/off buttons. The keypad is hardwired as the switch for those lights. Any idea why they stopped working and how to fix it? I'm completely new at ISY - still trying to figure out what everything means.
  5. Oh, it's for migrating to Home Assistant, not Polisy.
  6. I seem to recall seeing a message here about not resetting my hub in the face of the Insteon shutdown. Now I can't find that thread. I got a Polisy Pro in the mail today and everything I can find says to go around an install the devices like I would have if it was new. If that's the case, then why am I preserving the hub configuration?
  7. I'm in the same boat as everyone else. I looked at ISY years ago, but stuck with the Instegone hub. I was dabbling with CastleOS in 2014 or so and realized that I bought a 2413U. Found it in my spare parts box with an Insteon bulb tonight. I have about 2 months to set this thing up before I head out for many months and leave my wife with a house previously controlled by Alexa via the hub. From reading this thread, it sounds like Polisy is the way to go? I stayed away from the ISY because It was a bit intimidating for the time I could devote to learning it. She's going to be home with two kids under 7 while working full time, which means I need something that is practically fire and forget or I'll be dead. Mostly she'll use it to control lights via the switch modules. I would like remote access, but that's not a major requirement.
