  1. I made the switch a few months ago, followed the documented process and it was pretty painless.
  2. Well sure enough that works (and not at all obvious that those buttons are anything other than labels). I'll admit I do not frequent these forums despite having been a user for over a decade.
  3. Further update: I was able to factory reset both keypads, which restored them to control their connected load with the top button. With that fix I was able to get zones all configure. It would be good to be able to set which button controls the local load from eisy-admin is there any chance that will show up in a future revision? Also I can not change any of the flags associated with these keypads. If I make a change and click the "Write Changes" button nothing happens, no "System Busy" popup or other indication of activity and if you refresh the device the flag dropdowns revert to the previous state.
  4. Ok, an update. These units seem to have been set out-of-the box such that the bottom button controls the local load, not the top as is documented. When I determined this I figured I just didn't know which way was "up". And in particular if I select the .1 section in the eisy admin console and issue on/off commands the load is indeed switched on and off. However it appears that when I created the scene the top button was indeed added to the scene, but since it doesn't control the attached load the first reaction is "it doesn't work". I did try to do the "factory reset" procedure, but never seem to be able to get it take (never got the long beep that the documents say should happen, and the setup never changed). Did anyone ever find a manual way to set the which button controls the load on these? I'll continue to play with it later today. Also I don't seem to be able to change any of the flags from eisy. Specifically I tired setting relay mode (vs dimmer) or the rf disable flag (which is set on according to eisy).
  5. I just installed two of the Insteon I3 4-button keypads, and eisy doesn't seem to be able to actually add links to them. From admin console I can created a scene, and added one button of the i3 keypad, and a vintage insteon dimmer. (a 2477D). The interface seems to proceed to write to both devices and there are no errors reported, but in the end they are not linked. I was able to manually link the two devices without issue. Also I noticed that the 3 non-load-controlling buttons on the keypad do not show up as having an off/on status or indication that they can be controlled, but they do have a LED indicating that the button is in the on or off state. Any thoughts? Is the I3 keypad truly supported?
