  1. The solution turned out to be a simple one and the error was me missing a setting. After adding a device to a scene, the level and settings for that device need to be in TWO places- at the scene and then at the device buttons (responders) under the scene. If you just put the level at the scene it works correctly from the app but not the buttons. There used to be a button in the scene settings to propagate all scene settings to the buttons, but that disappeared in one of the newer versions.
  2. As no one has replied to this, I have attempted to re-create this using another switch device and another scene and the behavior is the same. Unless I'm doing something wrong here, I'm going to guess there is a system problem with devices and scenes. To summarize again: History- I replaced a bad insteon switch that was blinking. The "replace" function in ISY failed to to work properly and I had to manually install the new device and add it to the scenes it was in previous. Issue- When the device was properly added to the scene as a responder, instead of working with the settings in the scene, the device simply goes to 100% every time a scene button is pressed at any of my devices with that scene. However, when the app it used, the device goes to the level set in the scene. What I have tried- -restoring the device -resetting the device entirely using the button on the front and restoring -restoring the PLM -changing the scene settings in various ways to hopefully get it to reprogram -NEW- I have also tried using another brand new switch and programming it to a different scene, the behavior is the same, it works fine with the app but when switches are pressed the device turns on to 100%, not to what is programmed. Any assistance would be appreciated.
  3. Thank you for moving this to the right forum.
  4. The version is 6.0.3 As far as I can tell the old device is deleted (is there a way to search for the ID number?)
