Is there a way to use the Wait command with a variable? Instead of "Wait 15 Min" I want to "Wait Irrigation_Timer_Setting" where "Wait Irrigation_Timer_Setting" can be 5, 10, or 15 minutes? Lp

But no column headings? Too allow sorting? Is there a setting? Since I started with a new ISY994i ZW/IR Pro?

Or is it normal to have a scene for each controller for the same responders? I do see that there are scenes that were built (automatically) that have multiple controllers. But I do not see how to add additional controllers myself. Again, Thanks in advance for the replies. And again, pls see the attached. Lp

This is the second time a reference has been made to the "My Lighting" folder and I do not see that in my system. And no column headings in the panel. See the attached pls. What am I doing wrong? Lp

Thanks. You were correct. I hadn't restarted the console since I installed and configured my system. I have an extesive Insteon system and was using HouseLinc until last week so I had to import all from the devices. Still trying to sort out how the ISY handles everything. Lp

Thank you Michel for the quick reply and the tech supt suggestion but I'll try the updated PLM first. I knew that I had one but I didn't check the version. Since that is a 'real' problem, it just makes sense to do that. It will be here on Wednesday and I'll give that a try and see if it cures my problem(s). I'll respond back and let you know. If problems persist, I'll give tech supt a call.

BTW, I just returned from the Symphony and went to answer your question and briefly saw my programs that I had save a couple of days ago! But now something is really flaky! The system is doing some type of scan and reporting that it cannot find many of my devices. So I do not have any idea of what is going on! I really have not had any problem on the other system and certainly no hardware issues. Just typing this is painful as the admin console keeps taking away the focus when it reports that it cannot communicate with a module. This is totally new behavior.

I am the 'new' guy so please bear with me. I inadvertently added a KeyPad button to a scene as a responder and I need it to be a controller. So I tried removing the button from the scene and cannot. I have a few others as well with the same problem. The progress box pops up, the event log says finished incomplete, and it take a long time. There are no flashing lights on the ISY-99, either network or PLM. Should there be? Assistance would be appreciated.

I am "new" to ISY even though I have had an ISY-26 since it came out and I just upgraded to the ISY-99 and thought I'd give another try. I did not use the first one because it messed up my existing system and homelinc was satisfying my needs and (i thought) was much easier to use. Somehow I think my feelings haven't changed! But, that said, I am sitll going to give the '99 a try. Problem: I created a program (or 4) 2 nights ago and saved them. They worked great. Simple programs: turn the outside lights on at 15 past sunset and off at 9 pm. Another to do the same with the yard lights. etc. Now they have disappeared. I have tried to recreate and I cannot save them. The green arrow stays and the Program Summary says not saved. I have 3 computers: One is XP Pro (an older system) and Java Runtime went to 100%. System was sluggish. Tried another system with Vista Ultimate and I still cannot save. I have other issues and questions as well but I will try the forums search a little longer and see if I can resolve them. Lp

Ok. I'm puzzled! I was playing with Ramp Rate and on level yesterday and I saw that the LL responded to the on level but not the ramp rate. Now that I've read this thread I thought I was starting to understand. I just reset my ISY (I downloaded 2.1 yesterday - darn!) and it rebooted. I saw a progress bar and waited while it did its thing and I received 2 warnings that it could not communicate with a particular LL. It happened to be one of the units that I was adj the level and ramp rate on. First, it responds just fine with the buttons at the bottom of the page for that LL! I do not know what the loss of communication error means. Second, I noticed that the On button at the bottom of the page honored the level I had set but not the rate. Why is the level set but not the ramp rate and how did I do that? Lp (Larry)
