I got a reply from Aeotec. I was hoping they were going to say that the Range Extender 6 didn't support NWI/NWE. But they say it does. I tried including a Smart Switch 7 near the Range Extender 6 but the switch didn't include. The ISY994 didn't report any data from the switch. The ISY994 does see the Range Extender 6. When I bring the Smart Switch 7 close the the ISY994, I did include it and then I brought the switch back near the Range Extender 6 and the ISY994 reports the route to the switch through the range extender and the switch works. Any thoughts? Are we sure that the ISY994 zwave 500 v 6.88 supports NWI/NWE? Sorry to ask again but, I just want to be sure there's no misunderstanding.

eKeypad accesses ELK directly as a separate system. On eKeypad you see the controls for both systems but, the ISY and ELK systems are "ships in the night". No api integration of the two.

Ha. Coincidentally, my application is for sprinklers too. And the bulk of my processes are in ELK Rules too. I use ISY because I have an IoT device attached to my sprinkler controller and use the ISY to send remote procedure calls to the IoT device when the ELK Rules fire off. In my ELK I use tasks to fire off Rules and also use eKeypad to directly control the tasks. With eKeypad, I use these tasks to directly fire off zones during winterization and summerization of the sprinkler system. I recently started exploring UD Mobile because its UI is more user-friendly than eKeypad (my wife doesn't like eKeypad). This is why I asked about UD Mobile and tasks. I can keep using eKeypad for the sprinklers - my wife isn't interested in that anyway.

I have my Aeotec 6 repeater about 50', 2 walls and a floor from the ISY. I added a thermostat but, had to bring the ISY close to the thermostat to include it even though the ISY sees the repeater. Once I put the ISY back in it's place, the thermostat works fine via the repeater. The thermostat doesn't support NWI/NWE. Now I tried to add an Aeotec Smart Switch 7 which does support NWI/NWE and it won't include. I can't find any doc that tells me if the repeater supports NWI/NWE or even if it needs to support it in order for NWI/NWE to work. So the questions are: 1) Does the repeater need to support NWI/NWE and if it does then... 2) Does Aeotec 6 repeater support NWI/NWE Thanks for any insight.

I'm not familiar with node severs. Is that a cloud based solution?

What is shown when selecting "add": Devices and Scenes Network Resources Variables My Programs

I just realized that ELK tasks aren't pulled in to the ISY via the ELK module. Unless I'm missing something I'm guessing I'll need to find a way to write a program that would activate the ELK task - perhaps using ELK outputs? Thanks again. Carl

Thanks, Javi. I changed the favorite type to Command and go to add Command but, the tasks still don't appear.

I have a number of tasks that I use to start sprinkler zones and other things. I don't see tasks in the "Display Node" dialog.

Hi, Techman. Circling back with you on the result of my case... Michel assisted me. After sending him a photo of the dongle, he confirmed it is a series 500. He had no comment on as to why it's working in a 4.6.2 system but, he did tell me I have to upgrade to 5.3.4 Thanks again.

thanks, Techman. The blue glow is from the front panel LED. And my zwave devices are working with the ISY fine. Can you tell me how open a case with UDI? As always, I appreciate your assist

Hi Techman, You can see from the photo below that there is no LED protruding. I also included screenshot of the Z-Wave Version. So does this mean that I definitely have the 500 series? And if it does, am I just lucky that the z-wave devices are being seen by and working with 4.6.2 and I should upgrade to 5.3? Thanks again for your assist!

More info... I checked the ISY-994i ZW+ PRO I have at my vacation house - under the Help>>About menu it shows the Zwave module as "Z-Wave (21100). Exactly the same as what the 994i/IR Pro I have at my primary residence shows. Would that plus the fact that there is no protruding LED say that they are both 500 Series Modules?

Hi Techman, I just read the doc on the link. It shows how to ID a 300 vs 500 and the photo showing not LED protruding is exactly what I have. Does that unequivocally mean that I have the 500 board?
