  1. Thanks Techman. I did power cycle it. - no change. I'm going to try the firmware upgrade on my ZW+ (5.0.15A) at my vacation home first. My vacation home is much smaller and much less complex so I'll use at a training ground of sorts. Once I understand the details of that upgrade and am successful there, I'll get the new dongle and do the upgrade on my primary residence. Sound like a good plan to you? Thanks again!
  2. More info.... this is from the installation instructions of that module: Requirements & Installation ISY-994 Series with firmware version 4.1.1 or above (Help | About) Z-Wave Module - 21100 (Help | About). If you do not have the Z-Wave Module, please do make sure you have firmware 4.1.1 installed first and then use Admin Console | Help | Purchase Modules ($1.00) to have it purchased/activated
  3. CORRECTION: The unit did NOT come with the module installed. I confused it with a ZW+ Pro I have at my vacation home. For my I/IR Pro in my primary residence... I installed the zwave module in 2018 and followed the instructions at the time. The zwave has been working. I just installed a second zwave thermostat and it has occasional issues. That's why I'm trying to see the network info. Sorry for the confusion. Now for the question: since it's been running on 4.6.2 with zwave functioning, and in the past it did show the version info, do I still need to upgrade?
  4. Thanks, Techman. Maybe I don't have the 500 series? The module came with the unit and it doesn't have a protruding LED (I think that means it's a 500?) . If it is a 500, it came from UDI with 4.6 installed. Also, last time I checked the version of the module, it was being displayed. With noting: my zwave devices are working. Thanks again.
  5. Hi. Looking to see if someone can shed some light on this for me. I tried to display the network info for a zwave device - the event viewer tells me that the zwave module version doesn't support the network info request. When I go to display the zwave version info I see that the Library and Zwave version lines are blank and the Bootloader version is 0.00 I have the ISY994i/IR Pro v.4.6.2 UI v.4.9.0with the newer zwave module (no LED protruding from case). Product: ISY994i/IR PRO (1110) -OpenADR (21010) -Networking Module (21040) -Elk Security System (21090) -Z-Wave (21100) Any one have any ideas how to solve? Thanks!
  6. Thanks, asbril. I appreeciate your insight.
  7. In the 5.3 release notes,
  8. Thanks, asbril. I focused on 5.2 because of this in the 5.3 release: "There are no functional changes in this build when compared to 5.2.0. The only change is related to the ISY product ID reported through the Manufacturer Specific Command class for Z-Wave. This is the first of our official 500 Series Z-Wave Plus certified builds. As part of Z-Wave Plus certification, some incompatible changes were made that may cause issues when migrating from older versions of the ISY. We are looking at mitigating these issues in future builds. If you have a stable working system, you may want to wait before migrating." Thoughts? Thanks again.
  9. I'm currently on 5.0.15A and want to upgrade to 5.2. I see the pre-requisite for the zwave firmware is 4.55. The version installed on my ISY is 6.81. Is 6.81 ok or do I need to downgrade to 4.55? If I need to downgrade are there any issues I need to be aware of?
  10. Ok. well, I didn't find what I want but, you've confirmed what I found to be the case so I can stop looking. Thanks, Techman.
  11. Techman, I want to be able to look at any device link table and when I see a group address, be able to easily identify what scene it's associated with. When I started this thread I was troubleshooting a problem where a scene was controlling a device but, the device wasn't in the ISY scene. I went to the device table in the device and saw a few groups but, since I didn't know what group address the scene was I couldn't see if the offending link was there very easily. I had to go to the ISY console and send an ON command via the scene and then look at event viewer to see what address the scene sent. It would be a whole lot easier if the address were listed in the scene's title block so it shows on the ISY console as well as in reports. Thanks
  12. Thanks so much for all of your replies. We kinda came full circle to my original post so I'm thinking that there is no way to easily correlate a group b'cast addr in a device link table to a scene. If UDI are following this post, I would like to suggest simply placing the b'cast address in the scene title block along with the scene number. Thanks again!
  13. I'm sure I'm showing my lack of knowledge on this subject here so please excuse my noob line of questioning, the screen that appears when I go to Programs|Summary lists programs, not scenes. Those hex IDs at the right appear to me to be Program IDs not scene IDs.
  14. Thanks, stusviews, Can you tell me where I can find my scenes and broadcast addresses in Programs|Summary? Thanks again.
  15. Thanks for you reply, Techman. I did look at the topo report but, the scene numbers are large decimal values. For example the scene that corresponds with broadcast addr 2E (decimal 46) is decimal 622.
  16. I have a scene (#622) that I can see the group broadcast address is 00.00.2E when I look at event viewer. However if I want to look at a device link table and I see 2E as the group number, how do I correlate 2E with a scene? I'm trying to discover how I can look at a device links table and find what scenes the device will respond to. Thanks for any insight.
