Same error, different version. "This Version of the Admin Console is not compatible with the installed version of the ISY firmware" v. 5.3.0." I deleted Java Trace and Log Files, Cached Applications and Applet, and installed Application and Applets. Still get the same issue. Any help will be appreciated.

Running into a problem after upgrade to 5.0.1.6b with one of my garage door modules. When I close the door, it closes all the way, then opens, then stops almost immediatly. (If this is not the correct forum for this post, please let me know and I will move it accordingly.) If I unplug the garage door module, the door works fine. Functionality was working fine prior to upgrade. Hello, I am a ISY994/IR Pro user with all insteon products. Is there a way to monitor usage on a per switch or plug basis?

I would like to know if I place an iBeacon in my car, can I then tell ISY to open garage door 2 when that beacon comes into range. I currently have ISY programmed to recognize my iPhone and open garage door 1. I would like to be able to let ISY know what Car I am driving and therefore what garage door to open. Can this be done with an iBeacon, and which one is recommended that works well with ISY994i. Thanks

Thank you for the confirmation. My programming was similar. The issue I am seeing is as follows. I originally had a bathroom MS in the master bat scene. This worked but the light would shut off after 30 seconds. I tried selecting options and changing the timeout in minutes variable to 10.0. I hit the set button on the MS, clicked ok to start the upload and done on the configuration screen. This seems to do nothing. I also noticed that the light was coming on during daylight hours as well, so again I selected options on the MS and selected night only. I did some reading and decided that since I had a program running this event, I would also select On commands only. My understanding with this switch is that it would only sense motion and send an on command but never send off command which would allow for ISY to issue off command within the program. I saved this and again nothing. Light still came on day or night and turned off after 30 seconds. I then removed the MS from the scene. I am still using the aforementioned formatted If Then program listed earlier. When not in a scene, when motion is detected, nothing is happening, regardless of program variables. What am I missing here

Just purchased 3 of the new Insteon Motion sensors 2844-222. What would be tht correct way to program them to do the follwoing. When motion is sensed, after dusk, turn lights on for 5 minutes then turn lights off. I triesd the simple if then, but I think I am missing something.

Will UD be adding a apple watch support in the near future. I support some highness customers who I have installed ISY and other home automation products for, and they are already asking for this functionality. Thanks again

1) What is the difference between Insteon Hub and ISY99i 2) Can ISY support Apple Watch functionality like Insteon Hub? or will I need to switch to instead HUB. 3) How difficult would it be to go from icy to instead hub and what functionality would I loose or gain.

How can i tell switch link to turn off if set to any dim level between on and off. When the switch is set to not full on, but somewhere between full on and full off, how do I work the program so that it senses that it is on a what ever level and turn off after x minutes. I am really looking for how to get the program to sense that the switch link is on and active. I know the rest of the code.

OK, THank you. I will give that a shot. It seems that the Trigerlinks cannot be added as devices like switch link in the admin console. I have a new trigger link with ID of 14.8.F.70. I cannot auto link it or add it manually. Is this as designed? Sorry for the questions. I am still learning the programming in's and outs of this product.

Thanks Brian, I added he devices to scene. Do I now need to write a program that references the scene? I have switch A as controller and switch B & C as responders in the scene. I have the Trigger link paired to switch A. What am I missing. I also upgraded to 3.2.3 Thanks

Hello, I have a trigger ling that is set to turn on switchlinc light when open, and tuen it off when closed. When the trigger link is open, and turns on the switch link, I also want 2 other switches to turn on. When I look at logs, it seems that when triggerlinc turns switchlinc on, there is no log data recorded, and my program, which says if status switch A is no, then turn switch b on does not run. If I hit the switchlinc manually, i see lots of log data and program works. Is it possible to set the status of a triggerlinced switch to activate other switches when it is on? Hope I am not too confusing. THnaks

I removed the cover, and the only numbers I see on the triggerLinc is YKF3028, and E142683. I followed the instructions for assigning the triggerlinc to my switchlinc, but holding the program buttons. So when the magnet moves away from the triggerlinc control board, the switchlinc turns on. and when the magnet is moved close to the triggerlinc control board, the light goes off. this works perfectly. Status does not auto update in admin console nor does it update on my iPhone. in both cases I have to refresh to see the current status.
