Thanks. I found the root cause... went into Windows admin console and found 20+ instances of the ISY finder... For some reason: - the windows were hidden - there was no tab at the bottom of the screen. Could maximize the window in the Windows admin console and take it from there. Sorry for the firedrill.... Thanks. I don't even get there... Step 1 : Bring up the ISY Finder by using the ISY994 icon on your desktop (installed by this link) does not work. I do get the icon, but absolutely nothing happens when I click on it. Usually it re-downloads the applet (after you have cleared the cache) and then starts the blue-background ISY console. Here: NOTHING. Denis

Hello, I am using my work PC to configure my ISY and apparently some new update was pushed and I cannot get the admin console to pop up. - ISY994i is on, and I can control stuff through Mobilink and online (ISY web access) - v 4.6.2 - java re-installed, cache cleared. - using portal, but I am actually home and connected to local network (isy is on it) - find my ISY on universal device web does not yield anything - admin console icon on my desktop does not seem to trigger anything. I apologize for the silly question- I've been trying for 3h now and could not get anything to work. Suggestions? Thanks ! Denis

I think I found out why I could not make it work. My device was inside a folder. In that case the option does not seem to show. I took it out of the folder and now have it at the root and now I can see it and it. Thanks Denis

Hi, recently upgraded from 3.1.16 and I have 2 questions: - the console has been restarted about 9h ago and since then it has been 'linking' constantly starting just after I log in (progress bar moving slowly an d restarting from 0 about every 2-3 minutes and not available). Is this expected ? - is this function discontinued ? 'Replace...with This menu option allows you to replace a defective device assigned to a device name with a new device. The ISY takes care of removing the defective device address from the device name and adding the new device address into the existing device name. It will swap all the linking information from the defective device to the new device. ' thanks for your help

Hi, I have about 6 month experience with Isy and 1 year with Insteon. There is one thing that still eludes me... How to create exclusive buttons either through the ISY specific 'button grouping' dialog box or through scenes. Is there any tutorial on how to do that ? Can't seem to find it anywhere. My test case is a KPL where I want to set the dimming level to 1 of 4 levels using 4 different keys. I just do not understand how you can turn key 'B' off when I press key 'C' without having to resort to a program. Thanks for your help ! Denis
