  1. Currently, I have 1 hub in a 2500 sq ft house and it is running 3 yale locks with only a couple of switches with a single hub. Not sure in my situtaiton I would need another hub. I was able to quickly, without alot of codeing/reading, get a nice looking dashboard up as well for my in wall ipads so that was nice. Insteon has definately been rock solid but the inability to get a communicaiton device/radio makes the whole thing inopererable. Alot of money in devices just hanging out sadly. Like I mentioned I'll probably keep the ISY in case Hubitat doesn't end up panning out. It's bittersweet to say the least.
  2. Will do! The device does seem to be clunky in certain regards per my readings. I did end up purchasing one and had my new zwave devices up an running very quickly. So far it has been reliabe albeit on a limited installation and not much time has gone by. I am questioning selling the ISY in case I do run into issues so I might keep that.
  3. Thanks all! I’ll post everything in the Coffee Shop once I replace everything. Unfortunately, the PLM is no longer operational. I’ve gone through quite a few of them over the years but this last one went down from a direct lightening hit to the house. I do have the USB version but most do not need that model. Smarthome has no ETA on the 2413s and I’m not so hot at soldering. I was attempting to use the Polisy in hopes to limp along but it’s not quite there yet to fully support everything I had running or need. At this point I’m just going to simplify my automation needs to zwave and zigbee with the Hubitat as the controller. It integrates into what I need. I will miss Insteon and some of the devices but at this point I’m ready for simplicity and devices I can actually order.
  4. Hey Guys, Two questions: Are there any restrictions for me to sell my ISY or Polisy? Any place you recommend for selling? Thanks all!
  5. Thanks! This does seem to be my issue. I am not able to access the web interface but I am able to access through SSH. I ran the commands from your first link: sudo pkg update && sudo pkg upgrade -> Completed with no issues cat /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/update13.sh | sudo bash --> received this cat: /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/update13.sh: No such file or directory I also noticed when trying to upgrade UDX sudo pkg upgrade udx --> pkg: udx is not installed, therefore upgrade is impossible
  6. Hi All, Hoping to get some direction on how to move forward. My house was struck by lightning which fried my 2413s, since its unavailable to purchase at the moment I figured I would order the 2413s and use Polisy to limp along for now. When trying to follow the instructions. - sudo pkg update : All Repo's up to date- sudo pkg upgrade : Packages up to date So I think i am good on that front. Then when I run the following: sudo service udx restart : udx does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d), or is not executable sudo service isy restart isy does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d), or is not executable uname -a : FreeBSD polisy 12.0-RELEASE-p10 FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-p10 r351358 POLISY amd64 Just pasting what I think might help and very much learning here. Thanks for your support!!
  7. This is perfect. Thank you for looking into this for me. With your example and the attached chart I was able to set everything up correctly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sure. According to http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pdffiles/lh/lh01100.pdf Watering Zoysiagrass responds to drought by turning brown and going dormant in a short period of time (within a week under typical drought conditions). In the absence of rain or irrigation, zoysiagrass stays dormant for extended periods of time. Once irrigation or rainfall resumes, zoysiagrass will regain its green color. Irrigating on an “as-needed” basis is the best way to water any established, mature grass as long as the proper amount of water is applied when needed. Irrigation is needed when leaf blades begin to fold up, wilt, or turn a blue-gray color, or when footprints remain visible after walking on the grass. Apply ½–¾ inch of water per application. This applies water to roughly the top 8 inches of soil, where the majority of the roots are. Be sure to follow any local watering restrictions. Refer to the EDIS publication LH025, Watering Your Florida Lawn (http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/lh025), for additional information on proper watering techniques. This site is also helpful. The chart refers to St Augustine grass but the water is very similar, if not the same as zoysia. At least in central florida anyway. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/lh025 More details: ESTABLISHED ZOYSIA WATERING INSTUCTIONS USE COMMON SENSE if the grass looks dry (wilted or thin blades) it wants water. I manually water my personal Zoysia lawn using the manual setting on my timer-I leave it off until the grass looks like it needs water. IF IT RAINS MORE THAN ½” DON’T WATER THAT DAY! You may be able to get away with watering 1 day per week if you have the right soil type. MORE WATER LESS OFTEN ¾” of water per watering as needed. Zoysia loves to dry out and it helps eliminate fungus issues. Drier is better! Zoysia will turn solid brown after 3 weeks of no water and really tell you it wants water. Have no fear as it will green up in 1-2 weeks after watering has started again. It can go up to 6 weeks without water in the summer depending on soil type-(I wouldn’t try it.) Now knowing that Zoysia can go easily 3-4 weeks with no water and be fine hopefully you are less worried about watering less often. Generally speaking water 2 times a week in the summer and 1 time per week in the winter if you are not manually watering and just want to set the timer and forget about it. Another benefit to watering less often is that the fertilizers and fungicides last longer-they don’t get washed / flushed out as fast as they will in St. Augustines. Hope this helps!
  9. Yes I used that to determine how long the runtimes should be in my programs. That does not help maintain the irrigation module settings though. If I understand correctly, these settings are what drive irrigation requirement variable. Am I correct? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Ok thanks Michel. I look forward to the update. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I am experiencing an issue with the Climate Module where Total Rain Today is showing Max foretasted rain. BTW I have a personal weather station, location ID PWS_KFLCLERM34 If I look within PWSweather is shows the following: Precipitation as follows: Currently - Today's Max .94 Today's Min - Today's Average - Shouldn't Total Rain Today show as current total of rain at the current time? Which in this case would be 0 until it actually rains. Currently it shows Total Rain Today in ISY as .94 which is Todays MAX. Of another note I have noticed that the "View All" button take to me to HAM weather URL "http://wx.hamweather.com/?pands=PWS_KFLCLERM34"but I get the following error: Location Not Found The location requested was not found. Please try a different location Not sure if this is related though.
  12. Hi All, Can you someone help me out here. I am trying to find the correct settings for the Irrigation Module and they just don't seem to make sense. Maybe I don't understand them correctly? Here is what I think my settings should be: -I have a local weather station bring in data through HAM. -Calculation Method = Penman-Monteith -Interior Plains **I am in central Florida -Absorbtion Factor = 80% level ground -Crop Co./Plant Type = .6 warm season grass Now under "water applied per irrigation cycle" is where I get confused. What I know is each time a zone runs in my program it replenishes my grass by 1.00 inch of water. Time of each zone various but I have set them to run long enough to replenish an inch of water. Based on this thought process I would expect "water applied per irrigation cycle" to equal around 1.00 inch. What am I missing here? Then when I click on Calculate I have set the following: -Water Available/Soil Type = Sand -Root Depth (inches) = 3" -Managed allowable depletion = 60 ***I am not able to change this which I understand why. Would be nice if this showed as a DISPLAY field only to avoid confusion -Calculated allowable depletion = 0.036" ***I am not able to change this which I understand why. Would be nice if this showed as a DISPLAY field only to avoid confusion\ To me it does not make sense that it would only allow 0.036 inches before needing water. If that were the case my irrigation would run everyday. Even if I select "Silty Clay Loom" is still is only .30 inches. I would expect it to be more like .50 inches or more based on typical watering instructions of grass. I know this is a lot of information but if someone could help me make sense out of this it would be greatly appreciated. I guess in short I need direction on how to correctly set the "Irrigation Settings" know that I water an inch each time and that I would guess depletion of water before I irrigate should be over 50%. Thanks for your thoughts!
  13. Got it! That's what I was hoping for. Sorry if I missed this posted somewhere. I did look though. Thanks!
  14. Hi Everyone, I am hoping someone can help with an email issue I have recently encountered. I have had no issues with this until recently and have not made any changes. I did update to 4.2.2 but unsure if this is related. At this point none of my programs work in regards to sending email. What I have noticed is when I go into Configuration and if I hit Test it does not work and I receive a "Mail Server Failure" [Connection Failed]. Then if I make a change to any of the fields in mail server setup area and revert those changes so that I am able to click SAVE it will work again for about 2 emails. What I do is change a email setup field, change it back and save it. Then hit Reload and then Test. It will then send an email. Then if I test a program it will send 1 email maybe 2 at most. Same thing with the Test button. It only works about 2 times. I have tried changing the mail server to the default but I experience the exact same issue. I am currently using GMAIL with the settings. The only other issue I can think of is I had to reset the ISY a few times because it was locking up. That is when I updated the firmware. Thanks for you help on this!
  15. Ok, I hooked up my flow meter to the keg and beer is flowing through it like it should. Now I just need to run the wires to the board and write the code to count the pulses. I have never written code for the CAI. Any pointers on how to write the code and calibrate it?
