  1. Just wanted to follow up with everyone. I went another direction with IR and the ISY. I am using 4 Global Cache's IP2IR iTach product. Bascially what this product does it accept tcp messages from the network and then sends out those messages through one of the 3 ir ports on the device. The following is an example of how to send the discrete ON command to any Vizio TV. The following URL is a great resource for IR codes http://files.remotecentral.com/index.html
  2. Thanks for the replies. So my option is to A. Have smart home reflash with an older firmware? How does that work, do they have a special sku i can order? B. What is my option to control devices via IR with the ISY?
  3. Yes both Firmware and UI are 4.6.2
  4. I totally understand that from time to time SH is going to update the firmware and it's going to take UD some time to get it into the system. I was thinking there should be some sort of subscription or VIP service UD could offer to fund the "onboarding" of new firmware/hardware. Perhaps even let those subscribed to vote for the devices they want integrated first. Just an idea of which i'm sure you all have thought about. I guess my question is when will the ISY support the new firmware?
  5. The actual error during linking is; XX.XX.XX (2411T) IrLinc Transmitter v.4A - Cannot determine device link table address is what I get using the "Add Button to IRLinc Transmitter"
  6. Thanks for the reply. ISY 994i (1120) firmware 4.6.2
  7. Hello Folks, Looks like the "new" IRLincs from Smarthome do not play well with the ISY, cannot get them linked. Do we have a new build on our hands? PS. anyone know of a place to get older equipment that does work with the ISY? Seems like every time I buy something new I have to wait until the ISY supports it. Thanks in advance! Ryan
  8. Hi Michel, Thanks for the tip. Instead I had a few devices that I don't use anymore so I deleted them from the system and then re-added the EZFlora and everything is all good! It would have been nice if as I was linking and there were not enough nodes available that a message would tell me so. On a side note I remember thinking about 4 years ago when I bought this ISY that there is no way I would ever need more than 256 devices/nodes and here we are. Thanks for all the help everyone!
  9. thanks for the reply Michel. Is there a count somewhere or do I have to literally count each one?
  10. Finally had a chance to look at the issue again. 11. Negative ghost rider. Thanks again.
  12. Thanks again Paul. Gave those steps a try and same result. Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks Lee, but that didn't make a difference.
  13. Thanks for the pointer Paul! Manually selecting EZFlora did add it into the system as such but for some reason only added 5 of the 8 zones. Any idea why that would be?
  14. Just got from Smarthome and wanted to replace an EZflora that gave up after 5 years of service and when i try to link it say unsupported.... 22333-233 V 1.C 1057 PS. I am on 4.3.26
  15. I had a shortcut to 3.3.2, thank you so much, working great now!
  16. Anyone else having issues with the 2441ZTH? Shows up as an unsupported Device:5.10 when I try to link it to the ISY994i.
  17. v41 I've already tried a restore, that didn't work. I guess I will try to delete and re-create.
  18. LeeG, Thank you so much for the explanation. I followed your instructions and didn't realize that I needed to set the properties for each controller. There is a nice little copy button there, nicely done. So handles that issue, what about the second. With a six button keypad, there is an on and off, which I believe controls the load. If I include that as a responder in a scene, where the controller is one of the A-D buttons, it never seems to be able to control the "load". If I add another controller from another keypad, it works as expected. From the ISY it works as expected. any thoughts?
  19. There is also no on level that I can find for A-D keypad buttons. As a side note, this is the second home we are outfitting with this same gear (except 99i at the other house) and I didn't run into these same types of issues. Is the software very different from the old to new ISY?
  20. So i'll focus on one thing at a time. I've attached a screenshot that might help explain. you can see the settings for the scene.
  21. Thank you so much for the reply. So what your saying is scene settings (dim) don't apply when the scene is turned on from a controller like a keypad?
  22. Also, this is all brand newly installed equipment, not sure if that matter.
  23. I have a scene with say 1 light (responder), 1 controller (keypad). The light in the scene are set to 50% so when I hit the scene from the ISY it works as expected light comes on to 50%. From the keypad the light goes on to 100% no matter what the scene settings are. Second, I have a scene with lights. The lights in the scene are set to say 50%. The lights are also the "load" for the keypad. If I make the A button on the same keypad a controller of the scene, no matter what it can't control that load. If I add say another controller into the scene it works just fine, also works fine directly from the ISY. thanks for taking a look at this and let me know if I've answered your questions.
