  1. They are in Beta testing now and you will probably see the in a couple of months
  2. so the beta Dual Band KPLs went in smoothly, but now i noticed something odd. in the past a KPL would have a + next to it to expand and contract the buttons below it. so if you wanted to put it in a folder you would highlight the "main" button and add to folder and they would all automatically go into that folder. the 2 new keypads have no+ so you would have to put them into the folder one by one. was that intentional or needs to be fixed? thanks barry
  3. i think it there were some issues with low wattage LED flickering
  4. its the 2474dwh, trust me, i installed it, it only has a hot and a load
  5. that is correct it does not require a neutral it is RF only
  6. it does have a load. it doesn't have a neutral, RF only. its an excellent option as i have come across the no neutral scenario many times in older homes and in some newer ones too
  7. auto discover is normally used and then tried start linking and both methods yielded the same results.
  8. Both of the new insteon I2CS switches came in ( the dimmer with difficulty) as unsupported devices, dimmer as 1.36, relay as 2.42, AND they show in my lighting as Appliancelinc type RESPONDERS and now i understand why when i tried to "replace device with...." they did not show as available for swapping.
  9. Did not have any issues with updating firmware. Did not lose programs. When i add new devices 1. new 2 wire rf dimmer and 2. new 2477s dual band switchlinc relay it comes in as unsupported device 1.36. for the 2 wire dimmer and unsupported device 2.42. start linking worked better than add new device. On the dimmer it came in but at the end of process it came up with can not communicate with device, but a query cleared it up quickly. New switches do not show in list for swap out. Anyone else have any problems bringing in these 2 new devices
  10. Michel, Yes did that for the rain. unfortunately when it was bright and sunny here it had about 12 for light which seemed off. it is possible that it could have been darker 3 miles away. thanks for your help, i will keep trying. Barry
  11. Hi Michel, I have made a program already. its the weatherbug info that concerns me. firstly in my module both Light and Light rate are in %h, as it has it in the wiki. i have seen it on occasion as a #, as you have Light as just a # in your program. are you just dropping the %h? secondly, what is the range spread of the value that light shows 0-100?. i have seen it on a light day at in the high 20's i looked in the wiki and the forum and did not come across any info or comments. if there is published info can you please direct me to it. thirdly, rain data for my zip code has been 0 for the entire month and we have had about 4+" of rain this month. is there a phone # i can call them, tried e-mail but no response. thanks Barry
  12. has anyone had any experience with working with weatherbug Light values. trying to see if i can write a rainy day program that will turn lights on earlier then already programmed, if it is darker because it cloudy or overcast. the problem i am seeing is that values i see are inconsistent. sometimes it was just a # like 18.6 and the light rate is a %h. lately both light and light rate in %h. like right now it list light as 22.9%h and light rate as -12.3%h. is there anywhere a better description on the light aspect of weatherbug? thanks, barry
